This clock replacement was just what i was looking for to restore a unique western clock that had stopped working. This is simple and easy to read. It has a second hand and It fit into my clock easily. It is running accurately.

I purchased this clock insert to replace the clock in a desk set that had stopped working. This Hicarer insert was reasonably priced and delivered promptly. It was slightly smaller in diameter than the opening in the clock case of the desk set, however, the supplied rubber gasket enabled it to be securely positioned.The clock was installed four months ago and has been keeping accurate time. It also looks sharp!

I see that some buyers have had trouble with the fit, but I'd blame that on variability in the case manufacturing process. The insert fit my case perfectly, albeit with help from the ribbed rubber band that came with the insert. I did have one concern as the clock wasn't working when I first put a battery in. Using standard repair technique, I gave it a few firm, but not excessive, bumps on my palm and it sprang into life and has kept perfect time since then. I guess something in the works vibrated into a stuck position during transport. All good now.

My daughter made a dachshund shaped clock in wood shop class in high school over 20 years ago. That clock finally ceased to function. I looked for a specific size clock and finally found this one. All we had to do was alter the depth of the hole by 1/8th inch to fit! Love the style and matches how we updated the decor in the bathroom!
