I've only had it out for a day but I can already see this lens being a regular on my R5 and R6 bodies. The lens is heavy, no doubt about it, but the IQ is insane and well worth it. It is very fast focusing and produces beautiful colors. The images I posted as examples are on a low light day in a forest, the exception being my girls out in the open once we finished.This tank feels great in the hand while shooting and it has to give me at least a full stop of additional stabilization due to the weight. Great lens, absolutely amazing IQ, I just wish it was a bit cheaper, lol.If you can afford this lens and will use it, do not hesitate for a second, it is the best feeling lens that I've ever been out shooting with to date.

This lens is so worth the price. I am normally a prime lens person but dang this zoom lens is all that and a bag of potato chips. I love using it for pretty much any portrait sessions but especially family sessions and weddings. It's great it low light, low noise, creamy bokeh when desired, and is tack sharp. The only downfall is that it's pretty heavy but not enough for me to not want to use it!

Update: never purchase items of value from Bolo. It's been more than a month since their receiving bay accepted my return and I still haven't been refunded the purchase price. Save yourself the hassle. Buy this from a local retailer. And never trust Bolo with any amount of money.Two things:First - this lens is outstanding. Know this: if you are considering purchasing it, rent it and it will make the decision for you. Either the outstanding images you're capable of making with this piece of kit will "outweigh" the actual weight and bulk of the lens or it won't. You can rent this lens at local shops for $10-$50/day in my area (depending on how many days) so grab it for a week and take it for a spin. Honestly, price didn't even figure into wanting it or not. If you want it, you'll find a way to save and make it happen. It took me a while, but I made it happen. It's that good of a lens.Second - be aware that the value of this lens makes it a target for theft from the supplier all the way to your daily use. That means be wary of an online purchase of this item. You'll likely see verified purchase above this review but that is a bit of a lie. I *did* purchase this lens from Bolo. And to their credit, they at LEAST made me sign for it when it came, so it wouldn't get porch-pirated. Well, if you do have to sign DO NOT sign until you've physically opened the box and verified with your own eyes that the lens is in the box. And I don't mean the Canon box is in the cardboard shipping box, I mean lay your eyes on glass. If I had even visually inspected the contents of the Bolo box, I would've noticed the Canon box had already been opened which would've been a red flag. Unfortunately, once I opened my box, long after the delivery guy had left, I found it contained a Canon 100mm Macro lens. Extra points to Bolo for working with me on getting it returned properly. That process, while annoying, was straightforward and simple.My advice, do what I did eventually, and buy this somewhere locally, where you can visually inspect it before accepting it. But DO buy it. If you've read this far, you're gonna eventually anyways.

Excelente objetivo si te dedicas a bodas, XV años o eventos sociales en general; tienes un objetivo con el que cubres un plano bastante amplio, desde fotos en grupo o espacios hasta retratos. La iluminación es LO MEJOR. Considerar que la lente pesa lo que el precio, por eso solo los que realmente le saquen provecho a sus cuerpos no les importará el peso, de hecho para grabar video handle es ideal.

Es un lente muy grande y pesado, de 95 mm, pero si no te importa eso, me atrevo a decir que es uno de los mejores lentes que he usado, caro pero vale lo que pesa.
My Dream Lens, Absolutely love it.
I have been eyeing this lens for some time and finally decided to go for it. I kick myself for not ordering it sooner! The clarity is UNREAL, its speed to focus is instantaneous! The ability to shoot F2 with zoom at a reception or for group shots.... A PLUS PLUS! This replaced 2 prime lenses of mine and not needing to swap them out during a shoot allows me to capture even more special moments. If your a portrait or wedding photographer, don't hesitate, add this to your gear bag asap!I have shot several scenarios with this lens and I am always left in AWE of what it allows me to capture. It is a bit hefty, so takes a bit to get used to, however you get over that very quickly once you see the power that this lease has for your photography!
