My kid has an average sized half height locker (the kind where there are lockers on top and bottom of the row) and this fit perfect. It was a little fiddly to install but not bad. Expanding the shelf is easy, collapsing it is not as easy, but not too bad. Two of the rubber "feet" (on the sides) fell off during install (which at first I didn't notice) and so at first it seemed very flimsy. But after putting the feet back on it was pretty sturdy; Good for putting smaller items on.

Fit perfectly in 15in wide locker. Had read reviews that grips came off, didn’t stay put and held no weight but still decided to try for the price. I had no issue at all. Not one grip came off and held in place very tightly. Had set in place and removed easily to reposition. I only have about 5 pounds on it so cannot speak to it holding a lot of weight but did give it a push down to make sure it was secure and it held, so feel confident it could hold a few more pounds. May be a little less secure in a wider locker, but perfectly sturdy in a 15x15 locker.

This product is inferior to the metal locker shelf with legs. It does not stay locked in place. Also, do not put any weight on it or it will slide down. Do not recommend from a nurse that has had to use a locker shelf for years.

As I was helping my child assemble the shelf into the locker the knob that tightens and loosens broke on us. We were unable to use the shelf. It’s not as sturdy as it claims.

Initial impression is very good! Well packaged and easy to install. Seems to have a strong grip to the locker walls, and seems more than capable of holding what I need them to hold. Very pleased and would buy again.

Im impressed with how sturdy this is. I keep my heavier items below, but this is very secure and doesn't budge at all. I work in a hospital and Im at work a lot. Im in and out of my locker regularly and it gets alot of use. This shelf made such a difference for me! I actually came back because I'm buying a second one
