Better than my expectations especially after reading some negative reviews. Ive had large stereos, 1990s boom box w removable speakers & transistor radios- so I knew this wasnt going to sound like my home stereo. But I wasnt ready for how beautiful it is! Its GORGEOUS!! Easy to use! The light show! Its very impressive in a dark room. Its sturdy, not cheap; heavy but not too heavy- is just right. And the music is good!! Good enuf for my uses- exercising, out by the pool, etc. Im not going to be using it except to play CDs & use the radio. I LOVE IT!!

The last radio that I bought many years ago finally broke. After searching the internet for a long time, I decided to buy this boom-box. Was a very good decision. It's so easy to use and the sound is truly great. I am very glad I purchased it. I am able to listen to the music using a headphone, too. I highly recommend this boom-box and the seller. I am very happy.

Love it! Bought it to try out at the drive in. We like to sit outside in our chairs and enjoy the movie. Sometimes the volume of the movie isn't as loud as others, so that was the main purpose of getting a box and at first couldn't find the station I needed (dial is analog) but once I did find it, it was nice and loud, no distortions and it was awesome. Made Shang-Chi more enjoyable since we could stay outside and hear everything.Also, there's cool lighting feature on it, but you can turn it off, which also was good for our drive in experience.Music wise, it's dope. Great sound quality and connects quickly and easily to your phone with tbe Bluetooth. Once you connect that first time, it quickly recognizes it afterward when you turn it to that mode.Totally worth it!

I liked how convenient it was to have CD, FM radio, and Bluetooth available as a Boombox but this is a low powered radio of only 5 watts in each of the two speakers. The flashing colored lights further makes this not a serious Boombox at all but a nice radio for a teenager’s room because it’s good for that and not too loud, and definitely not a lot of bass. This radio is attractive and very convenient but don’t expect high fidelity sound clarity and bass from it.

My 1980s teenage self would have worshipped this thing as the divine offspring of Light and Sound. My middle-aged self just parked it on the kitchen shelf and blasted "Walkin' on Sunshine" while I made spaghetti and it made glowy patterns on the cookbooks.There is no moral to this story. But if you're craving nostalgia with a kick of modern, this is what our old boomboxes only wished they could look like, and it sounds fantastic.

Pretty good boombox, sound quality good, fine, and I'm picky about sound. But the built in battery won't hold a charge AT ALL, and correcting that issue would require either a return to Bolo or tech help from the manufacturer. The manual says nothing about replacing the battery, just that it's "built-in". My previous boombox was AC cord only, so I don't really miss the battery, but to have an unchargeable battery, right out of the box, lowers the star rating quite a bit.

My husband loves this radio. The old boom box we had gave up the ghost, and I purchased this as a surprise Christmas gift. He loves it - the sound is crisp and clear, and can be quite loud if desired. It is a pretty radio, and the glow is something he does not care about but it is very pretty. It is easy to use. There is no direct AC connection - the connection to 120 VAC is through a charger which charges the internal batteries. Husband is not dragging it around to the beach (we are ~70), so is using it continually connected. Instructions say this is will decrease life of internal batteries, but hopefully even so will still work through the charger even if batteries degrade, as that is the only way he will use it. I would definitely buy this radio again (it also has a CD player), and recommend it!!!
