This album is a masterpiece as vocalist Tyler Joseph continues to refine his style with a mixture of rap (Levitate), ukulele (Nico and the Niners), piano, synthesizers, and percussion/trumpet by his bandmate Josh Dun. The band took a one-year hiatus, gone from social media, to create this album and with it, a whole new world, of DEMA and Clancy and the bishops. Similar to what the band did on their album Blurryface, there are layers upon layers beyond the surface of the songs that add to an already impressive album (head onto Google). It's really stunning, and each individual track has a distinctive and unique sound and story that contribute to the narrative Tyler's created. Music by twenty one pilots is uplifting, energetic, hopeful, inspiring, beautiful, and ridiculously easy to tap your toe to. Should they come to your city, I would highly recommend seeing them live (they put on quite a show, and are so charismatic and down-to-earth that you feel like you're at home amongst the other fans).My favorites off this album are Leave the City, The Hype, Chlorine, My Blood, Nico and the Niners... is it too late to say "every track?" The music is friendly for children, teenagers, and adults to listen to (no curse words or mature themes: quality music that deserves to be blasted from the rooftops).

Everyone's ears are different, but for what it's worth, this is a solid friggen album.The lyrics are worth thinking about. The soundscapes are rich. The use of vocal distortion is much more... how do I want to put this... it feels much more refined, than it did on Blurryface. Sometimes the vocals are present and in the room, sometimes they expand, and let other instruments bring the texture. It's got a lot of pop-vibes, but it never feels too distant to evoke the kinda friendly feelings that I've learned to associate with a Twenty One Pilots album.I don't usually right music reviews, because I personally hate reading them, but I wanted to put a good word in for this one. 10/10, this is worth way more than ten dollars.

This is TOP's best album, in my opinion. Their first several albums are good, but this really feels like an album that you listen to from start to finish, rather than a collection of hits. They have a story to tell, which they do well, with catchy and interesting songs. I've hiked and power-walked to this album countless times. They don't let me down!

I love trench very much, I am aware that the vinyl isn’t the color it says or is supposed to be but I’m fine with it, I’ve read the reviews, the vinyls are black , but it doesn’t bother me. The record plays nice and that all I ask for. I love it though and I now have all twenty one pilots vinyls, I love them. I love twenty one pilots!

He comprado bastantes discos, y nunca tuve ningún problema grabe con el doblez de las portadas. Para mi lástima este disco fue el primer caso negativo, ya que sufrió un golpe que dobló mucho una de las esquinas de la portada.Tuve la fortuna que no se dañó el disco interior, ya que parecía que la caja había sido maltratada.

Ho aspettato questo album per oltre un anno e di certo non ha deluso le mie aspettative. Il sound è originale ma, allo stesso tempo, fedele alla storia della band. I testi non sono per niente scontati e, come al solito, molto introspettivi. Assolutamente oltre le mie aspettative, per molte ragioni: la storia che è stata creata su Dema e i bishops, un concept molto forte

Wooow Outstanding Album
I'm ashamed to say that I'd never heard of Twenty One Pilots until Bolo recommended the album Trench to me. I love all types of music so I thought I'd give it ago. And Woooow what a truly outstanding album. Brilliant music, tunes, and lyrics, that really grow on you after 3 or 4 listens. Every track is superb but at the moment I particularly love "The Hype", and the haunting "Neon Gravestones" about the writers thoughts of suicide.I love everything about this truly thought provoking masterpiece.
