Well, I bought this for my wife’s car. But I couldn’t get the viewing angle correct. While it does swivel 360’ you can’t move it left or right. So the phone points towards the back seat rather than your face. Cars with a vent almost behind the steering wheel would probably be OK. So, it may work fine in some trucks? I gave my wive my magnetic swivel phone holder and I took this. Another slight peeve is it’s very small and hard to get your phone out. Younger drivers may not have an issue with that, but when you are used to a magnetic holder. You notice the messing around. But, it does hold the phone tight and the horizontal mode makes your phone feel more like an in built GPS. So, to sum up. It would have been more of a pain to send it back than keep it. But I would look elsewhere if we ever need a replacement.
