The portable DVD player we have does not offer a lot of connections for porting the picture and sound to another device. The only real option we have is an AV cable. As both items only have the male 3.5mm jack, i turned to this item to bridge the gap.The cord works very well for this purpose and i did not notice any picture degradation.As I am not expecting for ultra high definition, this will do the job quite well.

Got the 2-pack. The cables do what they’re supposed to. The length is exactly what I wanted them for (as a shorter alternative for my CoolerMaster MH752 headset. The original cable is great, but verrry long. Sound and mic work pretty well with this cable. These, along with any TRRS cable, should work for a headset like this.)My gripe is that one cable had a small but noticeable error during manufacturing. I noticed a small red dot on one of the plugs. Looking at it closer, I saw something shiny within the red dot. It was copper, from one of the wires inside the cable head. In other words, one of the wires inside the cable head/connector had somehow made its way to the outer wall of the plug during manufacturing. It wasn’t a huge chunk of cable, but it shouldn’t have been that way at all. The wires should all be firmly encased within the rubber/plastic of the plug. What can I say, it happens. Play it safe and get the 2-pack, just in case.Anyway, glad I got the 2 cables. At least one of them is perfectly fine.

I RARELY (if ever) leave reviews, but I wanted to save someone else the hassle. This is the 2nd cord that I ordered from them that did not work for video, but only for audio. I know it's a problem with the cord and not my DVD player because a different cord I ordered somewhere else worked just fine.I saw good reviews and what I thought looked like a quality cord, but I was fooled...twice. I returned the first cord, bought it again thinking surely the first was just "defective", but my second cord was exactly the same, no video image, only audio. I work with electronics daily for a living, this is NOT user error. It had 3 rings which indicates it SHOULD have video AND audio, but no such luck.I have had to drive to return it twice now AND they say I have to wait 30 days to get my money back. They are banking on most people won't waste the time for $7 or $8.Save yourself time and buy somewhere else.
