5.0 out of 5 stars Great sturdy brackets
Excellent value and very strong. Holding up a bunch of heavy shelves and easy to use.
5.0 out of 5 stars FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC
After a year of research and consideration knew just about everything this was to know about pricing, colors, styles, you name if for wall brackets and hardware. For me, this are perfect. 10 heavy duty black quality attractive easy to install shell supports. Can NOT be happier. To my surprise, thick tight threaded long screws for the wall with small screws for the boards.Used a drill bit first to make application of screws easier. Drill bit as thick as the screw, but not as wide as the threads. Wasn’t certain these would hold these heavy brackets considering how much weight they’ll hold. Super snug fit. Very sturdy with added shelf.Needed a screw driver that could angle and also ratchet. Since my cordless electric screw driver didn’t fit well. Made the awkward angle for the second and third screw easy to navigate With the screw driver. Happen to have this type of screw driver already. Worked great.I’m using this first order for kitchen shelving over the stove and counter. They look really great. If someone doesn’t like black, these would be easy to primer and change the color.Even though there’s negative reviews for various reasons, if you’re looking for a sturdy steel black shelf brackets to support a lot of weight including screws these are for you. The price is phenomenal and I couldn’t beat it anywhere else. From big box to small retail and online searches. One of my all time favorite finds on Bolo.com
5.0 out of 5 stars These are beefy. Get some #12 strong screws with big heads.
Some of the holes are too large for regular cheap screws. They are made to be strong and use strong hardware. That's why the holes are big.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loved these!!!
Used them as corner braces for a 12 by 8 pergola. Worked great and look good too!!Would purchase again !!!!!!
4.0 out of 5 stars sturdy brackets, great price, crappy Phillip head screws.....
overall I like these brackets, they are sturdy, and they are reasonably priced, but could you put some decent screws with them? Because the brace is in the way of 2 of the 3 mounting screws you need a very long bit, and use on a slight angle. Philip bits tend to strip if you can't stay straight on. Switching to a torx screw would be a simple fix to the problem and get you a 5 star rating!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Shelf Brackets
Used these shelf brackets for trim storage in a small workshop I'm putting together, they are sturdy and well made a great buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy - Each piece is identical - coating is post machining - Made in USA
Likes: repeatable manufacturing process on each piece. Very sturdy metals used, and welds for crossbars are 'behind the scenes'. You won't see them if installed in a Kitchen/garage/etc. Then after all machining is done, they are "post machining" coated. That means the holes, edges, everything has coating on them. A "best in class" machining technique. Then, once completed, there are protective pieces added that keep the pieces separated during shipment so no damage occurs, and they are sent in a box that is the exact size. No rattling; no air bags; just the brackets and the screws. Dislikes: I would have preferred different screws for mounting to studs, but a very minor point. I had searched a number of brackets touted to be 'sturdy' but these won me with the absence of quality complaints. Will buy more and suggest these to friends. A+
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing brackets at a great price!
Summary: pre-drill your holes and get an extension for your drill and you will be golden.I've wanted a library corner in our living room for quite a while but even with the cost of cheapest MDF shelves, it was going to be pricey... not to mention I know MDF wasn't going to last long with some of our heaviest books. These brackets made the cost of a diy project more manageable (and the quality made our shelves more sturdy than anything we could buy). We picked up some 1 by 12 by 6 foot pine boards and stained them. We used three brackets per shelf, overkill probably but it fit nicely with how the boards lined up with the studs. The hardware that came with the brackets worked perfectly for both the boards and going into the wall studs. We pre drilled holes into the wall and used an extension on the drill. This made it easier to navigate around the support brackets. The pine was soft enough that we did not need to pre drill into the shelf boards. The brackets are about a half an inch too long, so the boards are off the wall leaving a gap. This actually turned out to be perfect so we can put a lamp on the shelves and run the cord behind. Overall, we are really impressed with not just the quality of the brackets, but the look as well. We will definitely be purchasing more brackets to install shelves throughout our house.
Flimsy frame useless
Horrible product... It's very weak and came out inas soon as loaded rack within 15 mins of install. Broke many items placed on rack and also got bent and broken. Do not buy.
Good for the price
I use these in a garage for light materials. Easy to install but screws are cheap. I lost 5 of them trying to install. Like me you may need to buy or use stronger ones on hand.
Brackets for shelves!
Sturdy and able and work in the workshop as shelves!
Solid but pricey.
Strong enough for sure, but unaffordable if you're looking to do an entire shelf around a room or in my case a shop.
