Basic hanging file folder frames for my file cabinet. Easy to install, durable, and they shipped fast and do exactly what they're supposed to do!

My husband purchased a couple large filing cabinets second-hand and after bringing them home realized they didn't have frames in them. I was grateful to find this 4 pack at a reasonable price. I was a bit concerned about being about to adjust the length after reading some of the reviews. However, I just gripped the end with pliers (covering the part I wanted to take off) and bent it there. It did take just a bit of effort but wasn't anything unreasonable. Considering how much weight these eventually will hold, I'd rather it be a little more difficult to adjust than way too easy and worry about them snapping on their own in the cabinet under pressure. I ended up having to take them all the way down but I'm confident that even if I'd only had to adjust them by a notch or two, the rack would still be sturdy and would not snap at the notches otherwise.

I was expecting a thin long box however the box it came in was a thin square and I was sure it was the wrong product. It wasn't, the rails fold in half. They aren't hard to put together, the hinges in the middle make it a little more complicated but what is really difficult is cutting them down to size. I thought you could just bend them back and forth and they would break, like you break a credit card but that is NOT the case. I had to have someone use a cutting tool and CUT them, then sand them because they were so sharp. They are sturdy and hold up nicely. Another small drawback is that they wiggle when you open the drawer so even though they sit nicely, they aren't rock solid.

These worked out perfect for my filing cabinet! Holds multiple folders!! So sturdy I struggled being able to "snap" off the ends to fit inside the filing cabinet! PERFECT!!

I inherited a heavy duty filing cabinet from the parents because my husband runs his own business and I needed a new filing cabinet. Unfortunately there were no hanging racks for the cabinet. I found these and they were so simple to assemble and you can adjust the length of them to fit various cabinets. I had my husband snap off the ends (there is an area on each side of the rack for you to make smaller to fit your cabinet), so it worked awesome! They are sturdy and hold lots of paper!

The folders shipped fairly quick and when I got them I was a little disappointed by how flimsy they felt. These are great for light filing but I’m not sure how well they are going to hold up for the larger files I plan to use them for.

I bought a four drawer file cabinet and quickly realized that hanging folders weren't going to work with it. I took a trip down to the local office supply store and saw they had something like these to use for hanging folders. It was only $$$ per one... yeah, hard pass. I checked on Bolo and low and behold, I could have all four that I needed for the price of one at the office supply store. I was a bit skeptical if they would be able to hold much in terms of weight, but I'm very surprised at how sturdy, adaptable and easy to use they are.
These Were Really Easy to Install
Nothing that I disliked. They are great for the price. Very easy to put together and voila the file folders are hung. I would really suggest though that you make sure of your measurements and then go and look up whether it’s letter or document size that you want. There’s a huge difference in size. These ones that I purchased are letter size and they fit perfectly. I did break off a bit just to see how easy it was to change the size. If you do need to change the size, break it in the grooved piece off FROM THE END AND NOT THE SIDE of the rail with a pair of pliers. If you go from the side, you will not be able to break it off!!! Snipping it off from the end , It was dead easy. They are not heavy duty but if you’ve got one of those spacers in your filing cabinet drawers, you’ll be just fine. Other than that, if you don’t over fill your files and load them up, they’ll work fine. I’m very 😀 with my purchase

Sturdy!
These are very sturdy and great for heavy files, but to assemble them you have to break off the metal at the end in order to fit it into the drawer or box you want. I was unable to easily do this with the use of pliers. It took a lot of effort and assistance to break of the metal ends.
