I purchased this as a gift for a child but realized this might be a great workout for my "older" brain.It is. It is challenging and I think it really gets those brain cells pinging. The unit itself itself is the perfect size. Easy to use with my arthritic fingers and doesn't take up a lot of space. A great little game.

BrainBolt is a great tool to use to help with extending attention and focus with one’s own visual memory skills by repeating the colorful patterns that light up. It definitely challenges one’s own short term memory. A great item to play with others or alone.It’s small enough to bring on a trip or car ride with older kids and can even be used at a restaurant on the silent mode. Once you find a strategy that works for you to lengthen the correct pattern that’s given, you will find yourself focusing longer. A fun gift for the whole family.It is definitely challenging and rewarding at the same time especially when you get things right. In addition, it seems to help strengthen eye muscle movement when following the colored lit up squares.I highly recommend BrainBolt.

I bought this for my son for Christmas who may or may not have ADHD. He runs through Legos pretty quickly and always has to be doing something. He is 8, almost 9 yrs old and says he loves this game. It's not too difficult and he has "won" the memory game several times already. I have played it and have not won it yet. It is a little advanced for my 6 yr old boy. My 10 yr. girl likes it and has "won" it a couple times. You can play a two player game, which is fun. I like how it's handheld and we could bring it in the car for a long ride. It feels and looks like a quality product so the value for the money is definitely good.

My kid didn’t have much interest in it. I immediately felt out of touch with what my kids like once it was received. Portable, decently priced, meh quality. Probably best for kids under 8 who don’t have phones/tablets.

my 7 year old and 4 year old can play this and its so addictive. You dont get instructions with it but a quick google sorted us out.You basically have to memorise the order in which the lights come on….if you get it wrong you start again. Such an easy concept but great fun.
