This product is easy to put together and is heavy duty. I replaced a round Rubbermaid 30 gallon can because it did not fit in my garage with my new car. Although, as one reviewer mentioned, the instruction sheet shows it as 28 gallons. It is a typo. If you do the math converting the area inside to gallons, it comes out to more than 38 gallons!

Super nice ALMOST commercial grade. I would use these in a small restaurant or other commercial setting The only thing lacking is a removal liner. They do not make one, and the only one I can find costs more than the trash can itself. Otherwise, these things are TOUGH, Easy to put together, They Look great, I bought three of them for around my pool. Heavy enough not to get blown around in the heavy winds. All plastic so won't rot or deteriorate. Buy it you wont be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Keter Rockford Resin 38 Gallon Trash Can for my kitchen, even though it’s intended for outdoor use, and I’m really happy with it. I purchased this trashcan for inside my home. My dogs are smart and ill-behaved. They learned how to work all types of "step-open" and "hands-free" trashcans. Cute at first, then a full nightmare.This trashcan requires some assembly, but do not let that stop you. It is easy to put together, with nothing really to it, and no real strength is needed either. This can is sturdy and can easily handle outside weather issues and critters. The trashcan is completely impossible for the dogs to knock over or open. My favorite part about this trashcan is the slide drawer at the base. If there is a leak or problem (bag rips, etc), the bottom has a little drawer slide that can easily be pulled all the way out for reaching and/or cleaning.If you are considering this can for outside, it is very nice. While looking good, It would keep raccoons and other trash-loving animals OUT.

Rarely, do I do reviews, but this product deserves it. It’s probably the worst performing product that I have ever purchased. How can a trash can perform poorly, you say?I cannot get the bags out of the can when I wish to empty it. The can holds them in so tightly, it makes trash removal a real tedious affair. I believe there is a design flaw (maybe a square can isn’t a good idea?). Removal is a chore, but worse still is that if you do succeed, the bag will be completely shredded by the can.Is the solution to not overload the can? Well, no, because I make a conscious effort to only partially fill. As for shredding the bags, is the solution to use better bags? Well, no, because I use 3 mil contractor bags, meant to hold contracting debris. Yet, this can shreds the bags on the way out.I would offer photos of the shredded bag, but I can’t get it out of the can. I am pretty sure I am going to dispose of my brand new Keter trash can and chalk it up to poor design and a waste of my money.

We wanted a larger trash can for our house that wasn't going to break out bank. We decided on this one after reading the review. I will agree the bag is hard to get out due to the lift inside. It can tear the bag if you don't wiggle it. It can be difficult to get out but my husband has mastered this after a few tries and rarely does the bag rip now. We have found the 30 gallon bags are a little short for this container. Therefore we purchase the Hefty 33 gallon bags instead and they fit perfect for this. They also tend to be easier to maneuver out of the can over the 30 gallon bags. Guess because you have more bag to grip and use to help wiggle the bag out. We did try to put tape around the inside to see if that allowed the bag to slide out easier. We tried duck tape and it didn't hold very well inside/stick. It worked some but did catch. So that is something you can try if you have a better idea for this, for us upping the bag size worked better. We were going to file it down to see if that helped, but it seemed more awkward to try and do and very hard plastic, so for the tools we has would not work, but for others may be an option. Overall however we are very pleased with this. Using larger bags, wiggle to get out, works very well. The price was worth is. It looks very nice in person. It meets our needs for inside and we have learned to get the bag out. I would say worth the purchase, but expect a learning curve to getting the bag out without ripping it. Currently we have passed this issue. I will say I do recall it being a tad challenging to put together just because of the design the such, but nothing that would be a deal breaker. Would purchase item again even with the few flaws, which is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Covers all the conveniences
Just received this product and I am impressed with the ease of assembly and the overall quality look. The cost for plastic always alarms me even though it provides for easy maintenance. So with it spending its new life entirely outdoors under a covered porch out of the suns range I expect the 2 yr warranty period will not be used. Cold weather here in the north will be its ultimate test.
