Just as you remember it, as a kid, when mom made you toast and butter w this syrup before school in the mornings. It’ll take you right back. Don’t forget, you can use it for baking in place of corn syrup.

Received this product damaged—it appears to have leaked in the box. Syrup is on the rim of the can underneath the plastic safety seal with drops elsewear and some black syrup spots inside the shipping box. I am just trying to get a refund for this damaged product but was unable to request the refund through My Orders due to a “not eligible” message no matter what route or listed steps I took. Please contact me to get my refund started. Thank you!

Not as common an ingredient in the US as it is in the UK, but worth having in the pantry and is a way better option than corn syrup. Gives an exceptional flavor and texture to cookies, especially oatmeal cookies. Key ingredient in ANZAC biscuits. Instead of corn syrup, which is generally GMO, this is made from cane sugar. It has become a staple in my kitchen and has a lot of uses.

I purchased some Black Treacle from this company for a bread recipe a while ago and it was great so I decided to give this syrup a try. I have used it numerous times in place of honey in my bread baking with good results. That said I have not used it on pancakes or waffles yet but I have tasted it in small amounts and it would work well for that IMO. The can is hard to pour from and you MUST clean the edges of the lid and the can before closing it back up or it will adhere together and make getting it off the next time you use it a real challenge. Good product overall and I will purchase it again.
