This is a great tool. I never had one with this odd shaped paper face (it is not the rectangle that we're used to.) But it is easy to change papers. It doesn't fail like my "older" model which had clips to hole the paper.

It is good sander for detail work. It does what ever I am working on. I do have three comments. The on/off switch has a rubber covering and is recessed making it a little difficult to use. The sander uses a different size sandpaper. I have several different mouse sanders. Now I have to buy new brands and sizes. Finally the dust box and filter has to be regularly replaced. Well, it does a good job and is quieter then my other sanders. I will get use to it operations.

Not for heavy duty work
I bought this sander based on it being a brand name vs some random no-name product.It's purpose was to sand a set of stairs to take off the varnish down to the original wood. I bought course paper, 40. But the sander was just not fast enough to do the job efficiently. I borrowed a stronger sander and used the same paper and it removed the varnish very quickly.I believe the sander is quality and will be useful for other jobs, just much lighter sanding and not to be used for removing thick varnish/paint or taking down a large amount of rough wood
