Love it. Wasn't feeling well enough to venture out and ordered on-line. Just as good as from the shop! And I didn't have to leave my couch.

I ordered the whole beans but got the ground coffee. Not sure what happened. Didn't make a fuss. The coffee is better with the whole beans but I find that there are so many mix up on Bolo lately - not sure what is going on.

I love this coffee! It's hard to find whole bean Starbucks Sumatra in my area. The price is affordable, too.

Starbucks coffee is awful on the whole, and this just continues the tradition. Starbucks burns the ever loving snot out of their beans and this is no exception. A good coffee bean should not have a shine on it, when you roast coffee beans they should be kind of mud color for medium and black for a french roast (dark), but they shouldn't have a shine. The shine is the oil inside the bean escaping and coating the bean. That oil is what gives coffee its flavor. Starbucks coffee have a shine from that escaped oil that makes patent leather look dull. As such you get coffee that is far more bitter than it should be and it has a terrible taste. If you grind your own coffee with a burr grinder or have an automatic grinder built into your coffee maker, that excessive oil makes for sticker beans and it gums up the works as well.If you want a better whole bean coffee go with Eight O'clock. Yes, the old Eight O'clock coffee that has been around forever and your great grandparents used to drink. It is cheaper and is actually one of the best tasting, readily available coffees out there. Starbucks is garbage for people who like their coffee black with nothing added and it fails basically every comparable taste test with McDonalds McCafe and Dunkin Donuts (which isn't much better) beating it out almost every time.To be fair, I didn't realize just how bad this stuff was until I started getting into drinking coffee straight up and grinding my own beans. A couple years back, when I was drinking coffee layered with cream, sugar, or flavorings, I would have figured Starbucks was good to go, but, you realize just how bad it is when you get down to the basics. Even the coffee brewed in their stores is just as bad. They 'compensate' by brewing it way too strong and acting like that is the norm because they expect you to sweeten it or add flavor to it.Such a terrible, terrible coffee.
