They also work great outside but I bought them for inside as a little space saver snipper. The blades are sharp and clean up easy.

They're perfect for my hand. I think that they were worth the money. I have used them to trim my roses and other plants with the stock about the size of a thin pencil. It's comfortable to use and I love the guard that it locked.
