We had a 4th of July party, outside, with tons of food sitting around - not one fly the whole day! Not one. We hung these from tree branches in the back of the yard, away from the patio where the food was - stopped flies from even getting to the patio full of food. If you hate flies as much as I do, buy these - you won't regret it.

The good reviews were accurate for us! We had flies gathering on the back porch due to our smoker being there and the hot weather. I hung up the fly trap at 3 pm and by 8 pm it was trapping flies. The next morning we didn’t have any flies buzzing around the back porch. Greta solution!

While I wish I didn't need these, they do work as described. Super easy to set-up. Cut the circle on top of bag, pop up the hanging port, add water to fill line and hang. Disposal, just remove and push port back into bag and toss.Does it smell - yep. After about 3-5 days in the sun and attracting/drowning every fly in a 1 mile radius (exaggerating, but it seems like it), corpses are going to smell. But I only notice it if I'm within 3 feet. Choose your hanging location wisely.All the buzzing inside the bag before their demise does seem to drive my dog crazy. Again, chose your hanging location wisely. It's up high and secure so he cannot knock it down but it does intrigue him.

Whenever I’m outside, entertaining, barbecuing, or yard working etc. the last thing I want is flies flying around. These are great. Place somewhere that is away from the entertaining area, and you not be bothered by the pesty flies. I have used different types of this product line. I found it this one works the best for me. You place it in your yard and it lasts about two weeks by that time it’s filled the flies and all you do is throw it all away and start again and for me that’s wonderful.

I’m only taking a star off because the product is not supplied with string/wire to hang with. The product itself works incredibly well. The instructions indicate 2-5 hours for the bait to dissolve, but the trap began to fill with flies within minutes. I was astounded how well these have worked. By day 2-3 it was apparent we would have to order more. They 100% smell like a decaying carcass, but how better to attract the flies? Simply hang them at a distance enough that it’s not so noticeable.

This is the only brand I will ever buy - it works!!! Off brand didn’t work at all. Within 3 hours of hanging it, this one had a dozen flies in it and counting.

Wow, We tried these two and withing what seemed like minutes it started attracting flies, LOTS of them! We are ordering several more this time around. Flies seem to be really bad this year here, so I'm glad these work.

We wanted to keep flys away from our door here in QLD..I have bought from bunnings previously but this catcher is another level...it takes about a week to gain momentum and it does start to smell. The video was taken at 9 am and the noise from the fly is really loud. Mine has been going for about 3 weeks...definately worth the investment. Keep in mind the longer the bag catches the smellier it gets...keep water to the line on the bag, dump when it's full of flys. They say it makes a good fertiliser as well when finished?
Ok, I was skeptical but WOW!
Even if you think your fly problem isn’t that bad…buy it! Wait 4 weeks and check back in. These have been amazing! I topped off with a bit more water after 3 weeks as it was getting low. Or maybe it was the 2 inches of dead flies. I’m not sure. Either way, our back yard experience has been so much better. I didn’t notice any off-putting smell that some people have talked about. Ours hangs about 15 feet away from a doorway and I’m looking at about 20 new flies that have entered and will soon be part of the pile of black below
Rescue fly catcher
The rescue brand works good , it smells and it attracts lots of flys.Tried the no smell version, didn't work

Wayyyy better than expected.
BEST BLACK FLY TRAPS EVER. These are excellent. We need to hang them in an area where it is warm as flies don't like to be near cold, shadowy places. This is how many flies we caught after just a week of using this product. The item continues to work. There's at least a hundred flies in here!!! There are still many more flies entering on a daily basis and we are very happy with the result.
