Lucas Cetane Power Booster is a diesel fuel supplement that contains effective lubricants for the engine’s high-pressure fuel injection pump. Expect cleaner exhaust, longer filter life, easier start ups and smoother idle, as well as, more power, more MPG and longer engine life. It adds much needed cleaners and lubricants to the diesel fuel and reduces wear by more than 27% in unadditized diesel fuel. It maintains peak performance by reducing injector coking and internal injector deposits. It also lubricates rings and cylinders for longer engine life.

This stuff works amazing and this is the recommended mix ratio per the recommendation of Lucas. We would recommend approximately 3-4 oz of product per gallon of Diesel fuel for the best results. Does not say how much per gallon to use.Says up to 250 g. Says raises cetane.Does not say by how much of even a range.FE.by2-8 points. The bottle only says you can expect .The only thing that is clearly stated is ( can not over treat ) So you could use entire bottle in a 14 gallon tank up to 250 ? My tank holds 15 gallons .so as it reads a 64 OZ bottle can be added to any amount of fuel. After using for around 9 Months Just a little bit of soot on rear hatch.cranks and runs great. I alway wait till the fuel light comes on .I onley use the BP near my House it is on a busy exit on L-75 and they sale a-lot . So it is always fresh .I have a 2013 VW Jetta Sport wagon .I use a 16OZ bottle when i fill the tank "Yes it is more than needed but it is just 7$ and you cant over treat .Just had a 10,000 Ml oil change and dealer said the oil looked cleaner than other cats oil at 10,000

Cetane Power Booster has many advantages. It increases the Cetane number, has some much needed detergents to keep the fuel system clean, and also adds lubricity to the fuel to help lubricate the new very high pressure Bosch CP4.2 Fuel Pump in my 2019 Ram, with the newly re-engineered High Output Cummins Diesel. I add 2ounces per gallon, per the suggestion from a Lucas Oil specialist

This is the first additive that I have actually gotten a mpg boost on a tank of diesel driving mountainous highways of all places. 2016 Cascadia with a Cummins ISX 15L. Noticed right away that the engine ran much smoother and had more power. Diesel engines are built to run on a cetane rating of 45. Unfortunately the cetane rating at most truck stops is 40. The booster fixes this problem.
