I returned the first cabinet because it had no threads in the package. Contacted the seller thru messenger several times on Bolo but never heard back. So I returned it, with a note, and re-ordered it. Came a few days later and everything was in place. Cabinet is fabulous! Threads are beautiful. So glad I re-ordered!!

PERFECT! For any seasoned stitcher this is a must; never having to wonder about having the right color to making your own color pallet. HIGH $$ output but definitely worth it!

Thank you so much for the careful packaging. The outer box 📦 was pretty beat up. The inner box was surrounded and cushioned by brown paper. The inner box was safe and the product arrived in perfect condition. I am very pleased. I love having all the colors. I will be sorting them today into color families. I do not know why I did not purchase this when it first came out. In my view, it is worth the expense. Thank you again.

The chest is not as nicely built as I would expect for the price. The drawers are particle board. The slats on the inside that are meant to keep your floss organized; they are broken, damp, and warped. There are a few chips in the chest as well. They are small, but once again the cost demands higher quality.The floss is all there and nicely packaged. Overall I’m very disappointed. This was a huge expense and meant to be an investment in my hobby.

Very low quality for the price. I returned this item. Warped dividers, DMC brand on the front of the box was poorly executed, crooked and faint at the bottom. Handles were nice, but overall, this item looks like something manufactured in China, not to DMC's well known standards.

Absolutely beautiful product, as it showed as being in stock and able to be sent I didn't expect to wait over a month before it was shipped. Basically zero updates. Once it was actually shipped it arrived super fast. So if you order one be prepared for a lonnng wait😂
Perfection
The media could not be loaded. Ok, this was obviously a big expense (and thus a HUGE treat for me), but when I looked into how much it would cost to buy every colour of DMC thread individually, this worked out a lot cheaper. Plus you get the beautiful drawers on top of that!The craftsmanship is BEAUTIFUL. It's a real treasure, and a classy storage solution for sure.The drawers have little inserts that need assembling (if you want each drawer divided into segments; optional of course). This was easy; they just slot into place.The threads come pre-sorted in several plastic packages, so I had a wonderful time carefully putting them in their drawers and arranging everything how I wanted it. I already had many extra skeins, and these fit in the drawers without issue, so capacity is a little larger than stated. No more delaying the start of a project because you don't have that one random colour to hand!The top opens up to provide storage for needles, scissors, small pieces of fabric and the like. It's not a vast amount of extra storage, but it's definitely a nice addition and good use of the space.The paperwork it came with was lovely: a printed thread colour chart (which I've found to be much less s accurate than my other DMC chart that has actual samples of each thread), and a booklet on the history of DMC as a company.It came really well-packaged, too, which had been a concern of mine! Plenty of polystyrene to pad it against damage and the drawers were taped closed. The tape was easily removed with no damage or residue.All in all - if you've got the funds, this is would make an absolutely beautiful addition to any sewing space.
