As always, Dash delivers a simple, useful product. It's easy to fill with water from the tap, as the top pops open. It has just one switch to turn it on, and a light indicating it is on. It boils water within just a couple of minutes, and switches itself off. I love that it is cordless, so I can pick it up and pour without any hindrance whatsoever. It is a clean, retro style and my favorite color to boot. Love my Dash kettle (and all of my other Dash products)!

I replaced an electric hot water heater that I had for nearly eight years and loved, for this Dash kettle. However, it was bulky, temperamental and in retrospect, a bit too pricey.I absolute love the simplicity of this little unit and highly recommend it for the price. It brings water to a boil fast, and then shuts itself off which is really valuable for me when I’m rushing and need a few extra minutes. Pours easily and the outside is a nice surface to keep clean. Don’t hesitate to purchase — the value for your money is definitely 5 Stars!

This kettle is perfect for my needs. I brought to work so I can have hot tea whenever I want and not have to use the mucky community microwave in the breakroom to boil water. It shuts itself off once it's boiled the water and stays hot for a while after it's been off. I also use it for those days where I ramen noodle it to work. It's the perfect multi-purpose appliance, I never knew I needed until I found it here!

Maybe I'm just used to heavier stainless steel kettles, but...This one wobbles a lot on the element, especially empty, but even when full it doesn't quite feel solid. But my main beef with it is that I had to boil 3 full pots before the funky plastic smell and taste started to go away. It's not 100% cleared yet after several rounds of tea (and no it is not my water source.) I may have to switch back to SS.On the plus side, it's SUPER quiet compared to the stainless models I've had before (those were REALLY loud!) and the color matches my kitchen perfectly.

I like this kettle a lot. I would love it more if the lid opened all the way but it does work very well.Several people mentioned this smelled like plastic when it arrived and they couldn’t get rid of it. While it did smell like plastic, the smell went away by boiling two full kettles of water and dumping the water each time. Didn’t taste it when I made a cup of tea immediately after the two kettles of water.

Do not buy this, it has no metal lining and the water heated in the plastic tastes horrible just like chemicals and plastic we washed it out multiple times and retried but everytime we heated it the water took on a plastic taste do not buy this you will be poisoned

I only use water inside this pot. It claims to be able to warm soups and things. But I can tell cleaning inside this kettle would not be that easy. My hand does not slip inside to clean very well.
