If you eat 2000 cals. which we need cause nobody gets enough round here, but ya girl don’t eat 2000 calories a day. And i don’t feel like doing math rn but whatever you do. EAT ONE A DAY. ur welcome.

I’ve tried a lot of plant-based protein bars, and the TRUBAR Daydreaming About Donuts flavor is definitely one of the better ones! The texture is soft and chewy — not chalky like many vegan bars — and the flavor actually does remind me of a light, sweet donut without being overly sugary.I love that it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, and has no sugar alcohols (which upset my stomach with other bars). Plus, with 12g of protein and 12g of fiber, it’s really satisfying for an on-the-go snack or a light breakfast.My only knock is the price — it’s definitely on the higher end compared to similar bars. Also, if you're expecting a full "dessert-like" experience, it’s still more of a healthy snack than an indulgent treat.Overall, though, it’s a great option for anyone looking for clean ingredients, good taste, and a solid protein boost without the junk!

I first tried this bar on a road trip. Stopped into a GNC in Houston and grabbed one for a snack on the road, Immediately regretted not buying more. When I got back home to Corpus I had the hardest time finding them. Finally located a store near me that sold them. Grabbed a whole box. The texture and taste is on point. I have one as a pre-workout snack every morning now.

I LOVE these bars and have them in my subscribe and save. BUT I’m only giving three stars because they come in a box with heavy stuff and are crushed flat! The bars themselves are 5 stars when not squished flat.

I've been addicted to Trubars since I first came across them a few years ago, and with citrus being one of my absolute favourite flavours in general, I thought that their new key lime flavour would be utter perfection.Not only was it not even remotely as good as any of their other flavours, it was terrible. For the most part, the bars themselves are all the same, with the difference showing up in the coating by way of flavouring extracts. The key lime smelled very much like cleaning products and tasted extremely artificial, with a perfumed aftertaste that almost made me feel like I was walking by Bath and Body Works.Let's be real. As far as protein bars go, the nutrition profile of Trubars isn't astounding. The protein is relatively low, with higher calories and sugar, comparatively. The macros aren't amazing. I buy them because they are vegan and (usually) an incredibly delicious, healthier alternative to a chocolate bar or other sweet snack.All other flavours available in Canada I'd rate between 4.5-5/5. The key lime would get a 0/5. I hope the recipe gets reworked with some real key lime zest, and they do away with the scented candle flavouring.

Confusing ingredient info
Purchased for a celiac / dairy free family member. Package has gluten free and certified vegan symbols but back of package says "may contain... gluten... milk" so the symbols can't be trusted. Couldn't risk trying it for obvious reasons. Non-refundable.Also, Bolo rejected my first draft review where I pointed out the issues with this type of inconsistent labelling. Hoping this one makes it through so other gf/df people don't waste their money.
