It's a little rough on your ears cause it's like a serrated knife rubbing against the top of your ear a little. Not the most comfortable hat. It is far less annoying when not wearing any hoods on it though. The weight of a hood over it is a no go.

Everyone wants to know where I got the hat (shhh! I'm not telling!). It is great. It looks classy yet laid back, modern. Great for when I play blues, rock or country. It fits many occasions and is so comfy I forget it's on! I love the brim length and the mesh back for keeping my head cool. It just looks so cool. I will be buying another as I will soon wear this one out! I wear it to gigs weekly.

The shape is a little stiff for my liking. The hat sits pretty high on my head as well. I was hoping for a lower profile than this hat gives you. Better fit for a bigger head than my size 7 1/4 head. Pretty disappointed but that's what happens when you buy a hat online, without seeing it in person.
