These cabinet door magnetic latches are, using an old adage - "Better than sliced bread!" They were easy to install, worked as expected, and have excellent holding power. We've used other designs and the reason to buy 4 units is because we're replacing those old clunky magnet sets in all our wall and base cabinets. The DEEKOUDT Set of 4 Magnetic Cabinet & Door Latch Catches are very well designed, with a very high quality finish and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

This is really the perfect way to keep barn doors closed without having a lock, or a hasp. I put 3 of these along the inside edges and they're strong enough to keep by toddlers and German Shepherd from opening them. The beauty is this: you can open them from either side!

We used this to replace the mechanical closure on our accordion door/divider into the bedroom. This is essential for winter camping, as you can reduce heating to a single room. We found that this produced inadequate magnetic strength, so we simply added an additional magnet to the steel disk, and now it works exceptionally well. We found the screw less than optimal, so we added CA glue to the back, then screwed it in, and it's rock solid.

Poor, poor quality. Seems simple, screw the magnet in, screw the “catcher” in. And I do have home improvement experience. The screws are cheap quality. Even after pre drilling, the heads of the screws for both pieces snapped off. I was able to epoxy the magnet on the cabinet, and I had a small steel washer that i epoxied onto the door. So basically I spent $10 on 4 small magnets.

These were easy to install and do what they are supposed to do, however, the magnets aren't strong enough to pull the doors shot when you don't quite make the connection or you close it too hard. They basically keep it closed, which is what itis supposed to do. But we purchased it due to our cabinet doors not quite wanting to close and hoped that the magnet would be strong enough to have some pull to them instead of leaving the cabinets opened less than half an inch if we don't quite get the two sides to meet.

Really nice hold. I used them on a med cabinet.I drilled the wood so the magnet would be flush with the wood. My client was happy.

Excellant product! Strong magnet that sits flush. I have used other products that are either bulky or have a poor magnet. This product is excellent for small cabinetry if you just need a discreet magnet.

The media could not be loaded. These little guys were exactly what I needed. They work perfectly to secure the barn doors that I installed. The doors never fall open (note that they are solid wood doors) and can still be opened easily with one hand. I highly recommend. I also purchased Meichoon Forstner Drill Bits 15-35mm 16PCS through Bolo to make the shallow holes for the magnetic pieces. It was all easy peasy and took about 10 minutes to do the whole job. I am very happy with both purchases.
