You may only need one cartridge every six months or so.)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Granted, using six cartridges per year rather than one cartridge case and a couple of plastic alcohol bottles for refilling may be slightly more wasteful; but again, only slightly. And I think that there are other higher-gain ways to reduce waste than to not use shaver cleaning cartridges 😊So all in all, I suggest that you live a little and consider going for the small luxury of Braun’s shaver cleaning cartridges.

I always buy these, but when I opened this pack, I was a little concerned. They have changned the design. The cartridge fots and works perfectly though. The photo shows the new one on the left.

The durability of these Braun Clean & Renew Refill Cartridges is disappointing, with each cartridge lasting about a month or 7-8 cleaning cycles before needing replacement. At over $6 per cartridge, that’s roughly $1 per clean, which doesn’t feel cost-effective. Since the tech isn’t overly complex, I’d recommend looking for cheaper third-party options if available.

Works well at keeping my razor clean. I run it once a week and a single cartridge lasts about 2 months. The hotter it is out, the cartridge lasts less. I would guess due to evaporation. Made in Ireland, always top quality. Standard cartridge, so it can be used with newer razors when necessary, you won’t loose any unless you change razor brands. It has a nice aroma. Just run it 24 hours before you plan on using it next, it takes a while to dry.

The foils on my husband's razor would give out. Having a clean solution keeps the foils from failing is great and it charges at the same time!
