I don’t like to microwave my food. Heat your food very well in the morning still hot 5hrs later. Need to blow on the food to cool it down. Saw a thermos half the size at home goods for the same price. Doesn’t leak, works great, lots of storage. Love that you can toss in the dishwasher!

I prepare food, usually fried rice, in the morning or before travel. Then I eat when I need it, in the plan or at ski resort, it keeps food warm and fresh. I don't need to buy expensive ski resort food or eat snacks on the flight.Excellent product, sturdy. I dropped it sometimes, but it still work well and keep food safe.

The THERMOS Stainless King is a great product overall. I love the sturdy design, the two storage container inserts are super convenient, and it's easy to clean. However, I was expecting it to keep food hotter for longer. I serve my kids' lunch at 6 AM, and by the time they eat it at 12 PM, it's warm but not as hot as I hoped. It’s still a good product, just not perfect for keeping food piping hot for extended periods. A solid 4 stars!

I did an experiment on different thermoses and how they hold heat.I couldn't find a Stanley that is this large and has that big of an opening which is important for me. So unfortunately the Stanley in this test is the 24 oz one.I put water in at 190° and allowed it to sit for 6 hours undisturbed at the end I took the temperature of the water again.Stanley was 165Thermos 158Arctic 145Zojirushi 120 also the model I tested leakedOf these brands if you're looking for something this size with a wide mouth thermos is the way to go.My husband works as a tree trimmer and does not have access to ways to heat his food on the go. There are plug-in lunch boxes but I wasn't sure if they were rugged enough to be able to hold up to bouncing around his work truck with all the guys.I've gotten so I make a lot of food at the beginning of the month vacuum seal it and put it in the freezer. The night before he selects what he wants to eat the next day and gets it out of the freezer then we put water from the kettle and the thermos. Before he takes off for work he puts the sealed food in the water and takes off for work. Whenever he's ready to eat he has his food warmed up. The size of this container means that he can grab two meals if he's going to be out for a long day. As he's no longer eating fast food or at the corner store he's even losing weight.I started doing the same at my work even though I have access to a microwave because microwave time can be much sought after and I'd rather not spend half my lunch waiting in line for the microwave.

This is perfect! My husband uses this for work lunches. It is the perfect size, keeps food warm for hours, and is easy to clean. He has not had any leaks. The lid is easy to open and close. The design is exactly as you would expect with a convenient carrying handle. Will definitely be buying more.
Premium grade heat retainer!
Size is amazing, and keeps food boiling hot at the very minimum of 6-7 hours, IF you put boiling water in there for 15 mins (SEALED) and your food just got cooked OR reheated in a pot (microwave doesn't cut it for me).
