I searched for a Tikka Masala spice that contained as many of the authentic spices I use as possible. I found that the less expensive Tikka Masala were more of a Garam Masala spice that contained only 6 or 7 spices. The Spice Way Tikka Masala spice contains about 20 spices and although quite a bit more expensive than the others, is absolutely the best - full of flavor and very balanced in the amount of each spice in the mix. It does take quite a bit of the spice for each recipe, but it is sure a lot quicker than measuring out 20 different spices! I uses dozens of The Spice Way spices and am always impressed of the freshness and grind of the spices - and the Tikka Masala is no different. It is worth the extra cost - definitely recommend...

I love cooking Indian dishes so I brought the tikka masala to use. You did not seem to have enough taste for me when I used it for a chicken recipe. I added some separate spices as well as some Garam masala (a less hot combination of spices) and turned out OK

I am from the UK and we have lots of fabulous Indian restaurants there and this particular spice is one I really miss.Lovely complex flavor with enough heat to make my mouth hum but not so much that it overwhelms the more subtle notes.I like that it’s provenance is clear and clean as one reason for my eating herbs and spices is they’re good for our bodies, so don’t what something full of pesticides and fillers.I have ordered other Spice Way products to try and more of this one for me and to share with friends.
