Our betta tank had a battery operated light that sucked batteries like mad. I had it over a year before I found this! It's great and the light can stay on all day now.

The light in my tank would not work with the batteries so i bought this and it’s awesome. Works perfect and will save you money on batteries! Lights do add heat to the tank so make sure you have a thermostat in the fish tank water so the water doesn’t overheat. That’s normal with lights, it’s not just this one. This is a great accessory for the light! A must have!

Very happy with this product because I did not want to be constantly changing batteries in my little aquarium. It works nice and bright and it was very easy to use

It works great, but….You could just use an old phone charger as long as the amperage rating on the charger is the same or greater.

It's just a regular phone charger I know I mean it's something that you wouldn't have to purchase something you don't need to buy snowed after that everybody has in the house so it's not a necessity to have but it's pretty I mean it's for using it but they could say that it's not necessary to buy but $13 was kind of
