Either poster who created the description for the Bolo post deliberately used wrong grammar (like I always do...not) to mislead one into thinking this unit is 300 watts per channel, or the factory was right in the factory pdf and it's not.Bad design. Channels 5 through 8 cannot be used when MP3 feature is chosen, they get cancelled out.Making this a 4 channel board depending on use. Oh the Games people play!"Compact" describes this unit better than "portable". Any thing can be portable...almost...grin.It does have a clean sound, with no ground-plane sounds in my home. In the field, haven't tested yet.Not DJ quality mechanically/build wise/feature wise. No headphone jack, WHAT?Worst!! **model out of production.No individual line/slide pot "MUTE" switches...no ability to cue anything plugged into the boards separate inputs. So the description is deceiving. par for the course of the 2023 world right now...deception.Only plays MP3, MP3pro, WMA file extensions via USB port or SD port...Not a MP4 player. Play any file you want via blue-tooth connection though.*Not karaoke per se, but built in blue-tooth or MPE reader/player/USB (you can't any of the four at the same time). It is a nice feature to control your MP3's either from a device or a SD card in the built in SD card slot.No remote for card slot of USB song list control.The player's screen does show song choice, presently cued, or now playing, of selected MP3/WMA, but you can't cue up songs to segue with the player...making it NOT a DJ system at all. (Maybe DJ was the nickname of one of the Pyle employees??? grin).LED's in speakers cannot be turned off individually and are powered through the speaker cables from the mixer 1/4 inch amp outputs. They only come on when the dB level gets above 35dB output.Therefore if your grandkids want to mesmerize Grandma with the lights and her choice song, along with their excellent signing talents, you'll have to blow her ear drums out in the process.tech wise>>> (I didn't check the voltage/ohm yet on the output during use but will, questioning whether the speakers are limited to working with the Pyle system board only...assuming they are) I dug around the internet for hours and found a pdf limited in knowledge to everything, but it's information was on the 150 watt pet channel model, not in production now either.)I Bought this not knowing Pyle took this out of production (my bad) (can't tell what year, no pdf's available on web site, not listed in stock, so this is left over discontinued warehouse stock).Gave it 4 stars on the portability. Speaker Stands have no slip covers for protection, odd shape and cannot be stacked re storage to safe space, and, neither do the 3 star quality assembled speaker stands have covers.Non-pinned Speaker-stand "full height" with speaker mounted is just over 6 ft to the top of the speaker, so the sound projects right into the listener's face. Wobbly due to the weight of the speakers. Sub par construction.The extremely light weight, thin mill thickness, aluminum, "speaker stands", are more of a cheap mic stand quality (tri-pod, and horizontal pressure-knob hold the height of the telescoping upright for the speaker in place. Under some higher DB levels and SUB SPEAKER OUTPUT FREQUENCIES, one of the speakers started to slide down on it's own after a few minutes of use.4 stars for sound quality only because I used a different mic (PylePro58) instead. (the included mic is sub standard and really makes the first impression of this system look cheap, Pyle's efforts included, then worse because their website has no documentation available...I'm repeating that!! again and again).Bolo did not include a pdf listed in the description.The included switched mic is plastic, hollow (increases feedback), and gives plenty of feedback at higher dB levels, where the PylePro58's actually could handle the system and any volume level. Other good Mic's worked fine with minimal feedback even in the direct output path of the Pyle 10" speakers at 95dB...(above that dB level would not be normal anyway, unless you are a deaf musician, but just a test-comparison).The mixer is fine and I would not call it a DJ system, but a powered sound system with built in USB/MP3 and Bluetooth connection capabilities.2 EQ's ( treble and bass) on each xlr channel, including echo-depth adjust for line 1-4 only. 5 band EQ for overall mix of amp output.Did I say 'No headphone jack!???"

Excellent product! We'll worth the money. Well constructed and easy to use. Sounds amazing. Powerful yet lightweight. Sets up in seconds.Cons:Mic is a toy. Pops when turned on and off. Tossing it.One speaker grill was dented in shipping but I was able to push it back to normal shape.Other than that, I am pleased with the unit.

Love it, great for the money.... I thought. Then I had an issue with the amp. The amp started giving me some problems, I figured there was maybe a loose connection in the board itself so I contacted Pyle since it was under warranty. The suggestion from them was send it back and this would only take 6 - 8 weeks (wow, only 6 - 8 weeks!). I suggested that they send me a new or refurbished amp and then I would just return the defective one. This was not part of their policy, so I informed them they would be losing a customer due to this awful customer service. The rep informed me they were sorry, this is just not the way it works. I informed them I would never buy another product from Pyle because of this terrible policy.

Exactly what we were looking for. Kids love rocking out some tunes on family karaoke night. Love the multipleInput options and that we can connect via Bluetooth to our smart tv so that audio can be mixed with the mics. Nice work Pyle! Would love to be able to disable the flashing LED’s but not a huge problem.

We bought these for our wedding so we didn't have to hire a DJ service! We hooked our phone up to it and let the guests request songs! It was a hit! I definitely recommend these for any event that you want to have quality speakers for! The music sounds great and I'm so glad we bought them! We use them every single day and it was like our wedding present to ourselves!

This is a fantastic system. The sound is great! Awesome and compact with storage and your mixer connecting to the back of the speaker. At times- I wish the led lights could turn off but otherwise - super happy about the overall performance.

It’s a fun karaoke system. Had nice options of a amp included. But the sound quality isn’t as good as I expected. Since we’re all staying home due to COVID19 scare. We needed to entertain 4 kids. And it does exactly that. I just wish the sound was better.
