I am so impressed with these. Another brand I've been eating, at the bottom would be so many tiny useless bits of walnuts, it made me feel cheated and irritated. I just opened this bag and poured the contents into its walnut jar and not a bit or tiny piece to be found. Only beautiful full half tasty pieces and meaty. YUM.

Excellent quality the several times we have ordered.We are careful about lectins, so we roast 'em: Spread in plate single layer, microwave 2 minutes, open the door to let steam escape, wait a minute or two; microwave again 1 minute, open door and wait again. Repeat 2-4 more times, depending on your microwave strength. Allow to cool, then keep in a jar in the fridge.Excellent plant source for Omega 3s, and is a real bargain at under $18 for nearly 3# (as of Feb. 2024).

I was uncertain about buying a food product (or any product) that is Costco brand, from somewhere other than Costco, but these came on time, are dated for Sept 2025 (it is now January), and are definitely fresh.Hope to continue to find this ongoing, since I cannot find them in the stores lately.

I'm putting this review here for those who check 1-star reviews for the downside of a product. I actually give it 5 stars with an asterisk. I've ordered these walnuts 27 times (!) over the years but received a bad bag only once (I did get a refund) so the product is mostly good. However, I have found variation in quality depending on the seller. Bolo won't let me list the seller I've had most luck with, but check "Other Sellers on Bolo" before you buy and go with one that has a good rating. May cost a few dollars more but worth it.
