I mixed the product with a a stronger amount than the recommended solution and added dish soap to act as a surfactant. The results I had were great and by day number two the weeds had completely wilted the smaller ones were completely dead and the larger ones were basically nuked. It definitely works. I would suggest doing a stronger mixture than is recommended and to make sure to use a surfactant like dish soap to help the herbicide penetrate the weeds faster. Make sure to do it when the suns out and then wait till the next day in the afternoon to check out the results. You will be impressed. I will be using this as my go to from now on as it doesn’t mess with the soil and does a great job with contact killing the pesky weeds. When done right this is extremely effective. I definitely recommend.

EDITED VERSION:This edited version is long overdue. I decided to give it another try, this time i added a surfactant and used it at full strength (maybe even an ounce more than recommended) making sure i drenched the foliage. worked great on the lawn (where i wanted to place a garden) and literally the next day the grass and weeds were brown... dug all that up, and was able to plant in a couple days. DID NOT work on the more invasive plants (blackberry, bittersweet, and bamboo). would highly recommend for regular weeds as i've never seen anything work so fast. do not recommend it for brush/vines...PREVIOUS VERSION:I have been a fan of the Ragan & Massey product line for a while so i was very excited to try a new product by them... especially a "fast acting" herbicide with the name of this company behind it. I followed the instructions (even prepared the mixture on the stronger side, as recommended for the type of plants and infestation i was dealing with, coupled with a surfactant), sprayed in the late morning on a sunny afternoon, drenched the weeds and ivy, and went outside the next day anticipating drastic results.I was very disappointed.It's been about a week now, and i've noticed some wilting (some were even clearly dead) on some of the weeds (like dandelions and other common grass-type weeds) but as far as the thorny brush and ivy, i noticed marginal wilting on some of the plant... the rest of it looked like i had used fertilizer on it, growing like crazy. I was hoping this was going to be the answer to the overgrown bamboo, bittersweet, blackberry, and rose bush problem i have all over the property. I know the RM43 worked wonders, but it took weeks for it to kick in and i was very excited to try something that wouldn't inhibit or prevent growth for an entire year and i could replant immediately.My advice is go with compare and save herbicide. it works pretty well, and you can replant a few weeks later. this stuff seems pretty worthless. i'm going to try at a higher concentrate and will update with any changes, but still... this product did not deliver like i was expecting it to from this company.

Just like the bottle states, rainproof in 30 minutes. Takes about 3 or more days to see significant progress. You'll see some quicker progress on the smaller weeds and grasses.

This is not a fast acting or good weed killer. I first applied a mixture 3oz per gallon and the weeds had now chang after 24 hrs I then increased the strength to 6oz per gallon and the weeds started to wilt but not die after another 48hrs the weeds still had not died so I did another application with 9oz per gallon and some of the weeds died but seemed like new weeds sprouted in the middle of the dead weed.

It’s as good as anything else I have tried. I add blue dye to it so I know where I have already sprayed. It eventually kills what is sprayed but many types of vegetation will produce flowers and then reseed before the plant is dead.Follow up is required.
