Simply Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is Organically sourced from the bark of evergreen trees from Sri Lanka. Cinnamon's sweet, spicy and warm fragrance adds pungent sweetness to your favorite baked goodies. Though often used interchangeably, cassia and cinnamon are not the same. Cinnamomum cassia (grown primarily in China and Indonesia) is reddish-brown and pungently sweet, while Cinnamomum zeylanicum (from Sri Lanka and India) is buff-colored and mild. Cassia is usually preferred for its more intense color and flavor.

Love this brand! The bottle was delivered great. It was tightly wrapped in plastic and some more plastic. It arrived the same day! The smell and taste is amazing in my tea. You only need a little dash on whatever you use it for. It’s strong but a good healthy strong. The size and price was a great deal. I’m sure it’ll last a good while although I’m sure I’ll be reordering every month as I put it in my teas. It was fresh and sealed great. No problems at all. I highly highly recommend this product for baking or for what I’m using it for, for good health!

This is the finest ground cinnamon I’ve purchased and it’s great. It mixes easily into liquids without making your drink gritty. It has a darker color and milder flavor than most brands of cinnamon I’ve tried. It combines with sugar better making it more versatile in baking.
