5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing and easy to use without all that chaukyness
Product works amazing on my 2021 Mallard RV. It was so easy to use when applying and buffing out to a brilliant shine. I'm so glad I did my research and found this compound. I followed up with the M56 carnival wax for added protection.
5.0 out of 5 stars This compound really works
I believe this is some of the best compound out there. I use it on my boat. It's a 24-ft Mach 1 cuddy cabin. So it has an enclosed bow and is a deep V boat. So you have a large area to polish on both sides and the enclosed bow. Works great on keeping the color looking good. Removes all kinds of color spots or imperfections you might have to deal with!
5.0 out of 5 stars May work almost too good.....!
I just wanted to see if I could remove/improve the white haze that was on the decals of an old (1985) Dodge RV.....it literally made the decals look shiny & brand new!! Amazing. But be warned, if you start it's hard to know when to quit!It makes a very noticeable difference, so ya can't stop in the middle/partial of panel/decal.I could tell immediately that the product was working because "color" started to come off on the rag, which surprised me and I had to double-check that they were actually decals, not paint. If applied by hand the user can hear & feel the product working/changing as it dissolves the oxide and starts to leave a shiny smooth surface. It does not require alot of "pressure" but a Boat or RV tend to be big so alot of (volume) rubbing will be necessary! LOLI have not used a product like this since the 80's, in the way that it feels when applied & the results it gets/brings.Highly recommend product for vinyl decals & fiberglass/paint brightening/refreshing!!Apply by hand to small area, in shade & wipe off while fresh. Finish each section before proceeding.May have to reapply product to remove dried smeary/stain from the cleaning-action (while rubbing) in surrounding area of use. Just wipe off while wet with clean rag/towel.Enjoy.....wax on/wax off. Very satisfying......~BHave good supply of clean terry cloth towels, turn/fold often.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff. Not One Step.
Have used Meguire's products for decades. Worth the extra price.Bought this to restore fiberglass cap and siding on our RV. Applied with orbital buffer on the really weathered portion of the front. By hand on the sides and back.It does clean and restore. Definitely must use a liberal amount as you apply. For really worn finishes it may take 2-3 times of buffing and additional product.Final wipe with clean cotton towel will bring out the gloss finish. And it looks really good. Why not 5 stars?? Two things.1. Benefit is short-lived. But then, nobody makes a restorer/cleaner/wax that lasts very long. Duration of the shine can be enhanced by applying Meguiar's 56 afterward. Which leads me to my second item.2. It's called One Step, but the recommendation is to apply the #56 formula afterwards. See the rear label photo with the directions.I would recommend and buy again. But understand if its a large project like an RV front that has a very dull finish, it's going to take some effort. And if you want it to last long, wash it every 6 months and reapply the #56. The good thing is, if you maintain it like that, it's easier to wipe on and buff off.God Bless your efforts. :-)
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked like magic!
I bought a a fiberglass boat that was nearly twenty years old. The fiberglass was in reasonable shape but had medium to heavy oxidization and deep scratches consistent with its age. I tried many things to bring back the shine, including a slew of automotive products and the 3M Marine Compound that many people rave about but none of these products worked for me at all. I was particularly disappointed wit the 3M product as it seemed to do nothing at all and was expensive! By contrast the Meguiar's worked like a miracle and the boat came up like new with just one buff. I guess every situation is different but I am really impressed with how this stuff worked for me.My only caution would be that this product seems to work with a combination of a chemical solvent and mild abrasive. The colored areas of the gelcoat caused the buffing pad to change to that color very quickly suggesting that a LOT of surface material is being removed. I am no expert but I suspect it works by softening the gelcoat with the solvent then removing the softened layer with the abrasives. Given that, in my option this product should be used for that one major compounding where you want to bring an old boat back like new. I would be very careful using this product regularly or on a new boat where only a light buff / wax is needed. If anyone is interested, here is the exact process and tools that worked so well for me:1. I used a Dewalt DWP849 7/9" buffer set to 3,000 RPM2. Fitted the polisher with a flexible backing plate and a Gracefur Hook and Loop 100% Wool Polishing Bonnet3. Washed and dried the boat to remove surface grit, dirt and old wax4. Spread a generous amount of the Maguiars evenly over a two square ft region at a time using a microfiber cloth. I found it worked best to use a lot of compound i.e. A layer of material about 1/16 thick on the surface5. Polished with an overlapping elliptical action until the compound was mostly gone and just a faint haze remained. I used a medium pressure - enough to bend the backing pad a little but not enough to stall the machine. I found it worked best if you use the edge of the pad (i.e. at an angle to the surface) as opposed to laying it flat on the surface6. Wiped the haze off with a clean microfiber cloth7. Marveled at the result!!If your gelcoat is colored the buffing pad will change color quickly, so use a separate pad for each color region to prevent color transfer. For deep scratches and gouges I put large amount of compound (1/8 thick) specifically on that area and worked it in harder than other areas. When the job was complete I used Meguiar's Premium Wax to seal the surface. I used a 10" random orbit polisher for the wax and this took out any swirls left by the more aggressive compound. The wax also added even greater luster and color depth but I have not tested the longevity of the wax in the water yet.One 32oz bottle of compound did a 24' cuddy cabin boat above and below the waterline.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best product to cut the oxidation !!!
We hesitated about 4 months on which product to use on our 49 ft fifth wheel. I am super excited to say it really does the job. We started with a kit and needed more oxidation. It pulled out the scratches and it is easy to remove. Must see the difference

Overall, the Meguiar's M6732 Marine/RV One Step Compound is an excellent product
I recently used the Meguiar's M6732 Marine/RV One Step Compound on my boat, and the results were outstanding. This product is a true game-changer for anyone looking to restore and maintain their marine or RV surfaces.Design: The 32 oz. bottle is easy to handle and apply. The formula is specifically designed to clean fiberglass and gel coat surfaces while leaving behind a high-gloss finish in one step.Functionality: This compound effectively removes heavy oxidation, scratches, stains, and tough water spots. It restores the color and shine of neglected surfaces, making them look almost new again.
