I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first or I wouldn't have tried it. I ate a few pieces before writing this review to give you an honest opinion. That's why there are some pieces missing. Mine arrive today 3/1/21 via FedEx. It was packaged pretty good. The contents did get a little shaken up as to be expected when shipping food like this, but for the most part everything came in OK. The flavor is pretty much what normal Baklava tastes like. I enjoyed it. The texture is correct in that it's crispy in the areas not covered in honey and the center nice and chewy with lots of nuts and spices. I think that this was a good buy and I will repurchase this item again. It's true what other reviews said about being able to purchase similar items at local warehouse shops but mine only carries it during Christmas for some reason. What about the other 11 months out of the year. I love Baklava and feel it's delicious all year round. Plus who wants to deal with all the crazy parking and huge crowds at the wholesale stores. This came right to my door with free shipping. Plus, it's a good amount of Baklava, it's Can't a little over 2lbs (about 66 pieces). Can't beat that! I think it would make a great gift to someone who enjoys this kind of food.

It was my mistake in not carefully reading the ingredients. No honey listed and you can tell from the taste. It is overly sweet from the sugar water spiked with glucose to make it thicker like honey. And talk about a mess…while my pieces were intact, there was so much sticky overflow in the package that it was hard to open the package.Not worth buying again. Probably won’t even finish this. Other brand were superior and I will stick with them in the future.

This baklava is really good, not too many big hardbuts, since I have trouble biting them. I kept one star because the container is flimsy. It was damaged slightly in transport and the hoods slid a little to the side. If they had a better container, they would have easily earned 5 stars.

I really liked these. They were very soft and maybe a bit too sweet. For the price this is a good purchase imo.

Great price! Great flavor! My only complaints are 1. Took longer than expected to be delivered. (Understand that not exactly all of the sellers fault) 2. The whole package was very sticky. Like all layers. The plastic wrapped on the box, the plastic around that. It was everywhere. Like it was stored, or kept in warm place and the honey melted. Other than that I was very happy with the purchase. Much better than paying $10.99 for 8 pieces from publix.

I really liked this baklava, as I used to enjoy the stuff sold at Costco. I no longer have a membership, but this seems to be the closest thing. I've tried baklava with pistachios before and while I enjoyed it, not quite as much as this style. It's a good amount of honey. Will buy again, would recommend.
