For the price, this thing is great. Time will tell as far as longevity but the initial fit is very good. The seal works well, the dimensions are correct, and the light is bright.It's a little weird that it plugs into the bulb socket rather than the OE plug but that's not a problem. It seems to work fine with this setup.I had two issues: my lens was terribly baked by the sun and barely let light through AND my wiring was all cracked and cut inside so I had to repair that as a part of this. Make sure your original bulb is working before buying this and blaming the part when it doesn't work.Very happy with this and would buy again, unless it doesn't last very long, in which case I'll be back to update my review.

My '97 XJ is now past 25 years old and the lens on the original brake light was getting kind of dull. Needed replacement and I decided to go LED.Very nice light, clean, bright, modern replacement item.A couple items to mention:The gasket provided is much thicker than the OEM and there are little gaskets also provided for the screw heads. As a result the original screws would not reach. I had to pick up a couple stainless #8 screws about a half inch longer. No biggie, the originals were a bit rusty so this cleaned up the install. Once installed the gasket seals nicely.The connector DOES NOT plug into the OEM connector plug in. It pushes into the light socket on the whip where your old bulb was. I was skeptical, but it plugs in securely and now you've not thrown away the whip in the eventuality that you ever return to an OEM lens. Others have bemoaned this but it works fine (see photo).With these couple things in mind, I still recommend and am very satisfied.

🤣 I can't believe how many people didn't realize that it plugs into the bulb socket. Its tight, but it fits. The light looks nice, easy to install, but it isn't as bright as I had hoped. Plus, it made me want to change the other two brake lights so it'll match better.

Great product once we figured out how to hook it up, it attaches to the light bulb plug. Fits my 2000 jeep Cherokee

I installed this light about a month or so ago to replace my factory light as for installing it; it was very simple but very disappointing to find out it’s not working a few weeks later from an officer. I don’t think I would recommend this product.

Got scared the connection didnt fit harness and ran to reviews right away.! Remove the bulb and plug in where the bulb was.!!!! Tight fit connected seamlessly
