I got the 3" bore 12" stroke dual action cylinder. This thing is a beast. It has enough lifting power that I can use it at relatively low pressure and it will still lift its load easily even with my weight added. I set this up as an actuator to lift the top of a 56" tool chest, so that I could add a rack of batteries along the inside of that lid. This easily holds it open all day. I set it up with this 2-position control valve (https://www.Bolo.com/dp/B0D78PCKCM), so the cylinder will open or close with the switch handle. I have gradually been adding more such actuators for different applications in the home and shop to compensate for mobility impairment of some family members. Since these are designed for industrial applications, they have held up very well to our daily usage.

The cylinder is rather big, and Husband's plan is to use this in one of his robotics projects. Not a fighting robot this time he says. It's well made, of aluminum alloy, and operates smoothly. Preliminary testing has proven positive.

The parts shown in the (buy all three) do not fit together. The mounting plate is for a much smaller cylinder. Now I have the wrong parts.Perfect
