I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this beet powder is very tasty and had none of the "earthy" flavor that beets can have. The powder dissolves immediately and is a welcome addition to my smoothy. (I love the color as well :-)). I have used Anthony's products before and have found them all to be high quality and a great value. The best part is that I got this to see if it would help my swollen lower leg and ankle caused by inflammation due to a bad case of eczema. It DID!!! So it saved me a lot by not having to buy expensive compression socks. I had already tried one pair. They took care of the swelling, but were terribly painful to take off. So I am extremely happy with this beet powder which tastes great and really did the job as well!

The taste of this product is always great! Shelf life of this product is very good, you will definitely use this well before any expiration date. Value is great, dissolves easily into all beverages, very easy to apply in drinks. Anthony's products are always fresh, tasty, but most importantly healthy for you! Your body will thank you with enhanced energy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANTHONY'S Beet Juice Powder! Great in Coffee!!!

Some beet powders have an earthy taste. This powder has a very fresh flavor much like fresh baby beets from the garden. Adds a bright hue to veggie drinks or anything else you put it in. I have heard it can also be used to make a hot pink natural dye for fabrics but subsequently, be careful about getting concentrated amounts of it on clothes, etc. as it is very difficult to get out. There are reported health benefits, but I'm not qualified to comment on that, so you'll have to look it up for yourselves.

MADE IN CHINAThis beet powder claims CCOF organic certification, which sounds great — but it’s made in China, and that raises red flags for me. Even with certification, there’s no transparency on heavy metal testing, third-party lab results, or real quality assurance. Given China’s history of food scandals, I don’t feel confident putting this in my body daily. I’ll stick to U.S.-grown products with full lab reports next time.

I used to buy pickled, bottled beetroot until Covid, and subsequent stock shortages, ended that so I needed to find an alternative. So I decided to look at powdered varieties. I've tried quite a few, and several Australian brands, but this one from California is the best I've come across. Prices vary a lot, but among the better quality ones this compares well and the taste is excellent. Several cheaper ones I tried tasted like ground earth, quite revolting, so the old maxim applies- you get what you pay for! These folks offer great service and deliveries are very quick. I will certainly continue to buy from them so long as they stock this product.
