The made in china shaft broke grounding beef, if you can believe that, yes, "Supposed stainless steel" lost to organic meat, introducing made in china. Now I haven't used this long, and I feel I have to be very careful about using it (it's got metal impregnated into plastic so I don't know how long that's going to last), but so far it's fine. The built quality is much better than generic brands, I guess in some cases, you still have to insist on name brands, there's no short cut, even if they are also ripping you off, there's no out this day in age for American Consumers.

Easy to install! A simple operation... Not at all. Intimidating. I purchase a quarter cow once a year from a local farmer. And I always run out of ground beef, and never can find enough recipes to use my round steak for. So I purchased this to grind up round steak for burgers. Perfect consistency! I don't know why I waited so long to buy this. 10 out of 10 recommend.It wasn't hard to clean... Most of the parts I put in the dishwasher. Definitely worth the purchase. Currently I'm just storing it in the mixing bowl... And that seems to be okay for now.

Opted for the plastic just to see if we would use it like we intended to. Making our own ground chicken for freezer stock up has been wonderful. This thing holds up and we are very pleased! The size & weight might seem cheap but it's sturdy! Super easy to clean the parts by hand, no dishwasher needed.

The image is a little deceiving as what arrived is not the current model of the KitchenAid grinder attachment. It is the model from at least 10 years ago without the rounded tray on top. It is in what looks like new condition and works perfectly. No complaints about the fit, looks and function of the attachment.

You need both the KSMFGA (food grinder) and KSMFVSP (fruit and vegetable strainer) attachments to process fruits and vegetables with the mixer. It worked like a dream with blackberries and I can't wait to use it with tomatoes.Made easy work of my task of removing seeds from blackberries

It got broken after several times of use
I am not an active cook and used this grinder maximum 10 times mainly for grinding vegetables and soft meat (without bones). The internal metallic part got broken after several times of use. I have contacted KitchenAid support and they said that I need to buy a new grinder, they don't offer any repair service, neither that part is available for sales anymore. What a disappointment.

Se siente muy bien, aguanta el dejarse batiendo, no soy profesional, no vendo, todo es casero, pero queda bien, eso sí, batir arriba de 5 huevos, menos, mejor una batidora manual.No es barata, no es económica, pero sirve muy bien.

Noi siamo abituati a chiamarlo tritacarne, il problema è che si usa per tritare di tutto e la carne è solo la punta dell'iceberg.Fate polpette o polpettone, mettete tutto insieme così intanto che tritate amalgamate tutto insieme e tutto è tritato con la stessa granulosità.Con un aggiuntivo da pochi euro potete estrudere i biscotti.Noi non compriamo più gli hamburger ma li facciamo in casa cosi possiamo scegliere i tagli di carne e miscelarli fino a trovare il gusto che preferiamo, inserendo le spezie in fase di macinatura il sapore è molto più omogeneo.Ci puoi fare il pagrattato, tritare il formaggio, le verdure, la frutta (consistente) e la frutta secca.Basta giocare con il tipo di piastra e la velocità potete ottenere la macinatura che preferite.Se avete l'impastatrice non potete fare a meno di questo accessorio.
