Toniiq berberine is probably one of the best out there. 1st day I took it as directed. Tho I decided to skip my Lantus (70 units at bedtime) which I do every once in a while to give myself a break. Anyway. The next day my 1st reading was 83! Without insulin! Normally my 1st readings are 160-200+ WITH insulin! (They call it sunrise surprise) so this stuff really works! So I can tell you it worked great for me. My problem is that I have a sensitive stomach and it absolutely Tore. Me. Up! Severe heartburn and nausea. I was up all night with it. Next day I only take 2 - that night I was up all night again. Next day I only took 1. At least I could lay down to sleep finally. In my misery I forgot to check my #s. I was just too miserable. I regret that now. I was all attracted to the 97% purity and the 82 times more than something (powder?) that I can't remember. What I was taking was working just great! It brought my #s down significantly. Almost every single one was less than 100. There were no side effects at all. LumaNutrition 1200 mg. I'm going back to that tonight. I talked with the folks at Toniiq and they are giving me my money back and they were really nice. I will tell you that she said my reaction was not typical. 3 days later tho and I still have a touch of nausea and heartburn. So. Can't say I didn't warn you! Anyway the main take away is that berberine is the real deal. The research is just plain wrong to me. They (the research) say it's like metformin. Oh no it's not! It is sooooooo much better than metformin! And also the research, for the most part, doesn't tell you that you're not supposed to take it beyond 6 months. So I've been taking it about 6 1/2 weeks now and after my blood draw on Wed I am going to stop and take a 3 week break. That way I can keep taking it over the long haul. So sensitive stomach people I recommend LumaNutrition 1200 mg. For the rest of you who have normal or strong stomachs I recommend the Toniiq 500 mgs 3 times a day. ALL OF YOU MUST TAKE THIS WITH FOOD! It's an absolute must! 💯Sept 4th update: A1C: 7.6 down to 6.3! (Sorry I'm a little late with the update) but man I'll take 6.3 all day long! I know "technically" it's still high but "technically" I'm happier than a bear eating salmon! I mean really! Come on! 5.6 or lower? For someone with diabetes that just seems impossible. IDK with the way things are going - a little tweak here and a little tweak there I just might make it with the help of berberine. Bottom line? You don't need all those fancy shamsy supplements. With this and that in it that costs you $50 and only has a titch of berberine? But if you pulled my hair and threatened to put toothpicks in my eyes and forced me to say - I would say at most maybe get a berberine/ceylon cinnamon one. It must be ceylon cinnamon. You do the research cassia v ceylon. And you want minimum 1,500 mgs. Oh and about the food part I was meaning the toniiq. I don't think I was paying attention to what I ate before I took it and vice versa. But either way I'm sticking to my Luma Nutrition. (1200 mg) good luck y'all!

I'm 54 and had a hysterectomy almost a year ago, which resulted in about a 15 pound weight gain. 2 weeks in taking this supplement and I can definitely tell a big difference in my energy and my cravings/food noise. I'm no longer constantly thinking about what I will snack on next or craving carbs. 1 take 1 pill about 30 minutes prior to each meal. As a result, my clothes are starting to fit just a tad more loosely and I feel fantastic! I'm encouraged enough that I will definitely be buying another bottle!

This is my second time ordering berberine. The first was from a different vendor, not affiliated with Bolo. That berberine had a very strong smell and taste - not like it was bad, but iike it was very fresh. It was a strong herbal smell and taste.The second time I tried the berberine from toniq. This time the smell and taste are faint. You may take this as a good sign, but I take it as the toniq berberine is not as fresh as it could be,

capsule needs crushing (rolling)
I am in Australia, and ordered from Bolo Australia. Product came from overseas, and arrived within a few days of ordering it (cool).I never swallow Tablets or capsules. I crush Tablets, and open capsules.The following is not a complaint, it is a bit of advice to you all.I opened my first capsule of this, and placed a portion into my mouth (only the slightly brave will do this). A small portion dropped into my mouth, and the powder was set, fairly hard. It took a bit of gumming (chewing for those of you that have teeth), and sucking to dissolve that.What I did with the 90% still in the capsule was roll it very firmly between my fingers to get it back to the powder state, that god intended.For most of you, who will be swallowing the capsule whole, I recommend that you do my firm pressing/rolling of the capsule before swallowing it.For those that don't do this, there is the possibility that chunks won't break up/dissolve until later in your digestive process.I just experimented with my 2nd capsule (which I did not open yet). It took my pressing/rolling, and remained intact but definitely is now in a powder state.

I have taken this product for the last two weeks. I’ve noticed for the last 4 days my appetite has decreased. Especially in the mornings. I wake up calm and not feeling hungry. I’ve also been happy to skip dinner the last few nights. Overall I have had less cravings for carbohydrates and sweets. This is actually weird for me!I have PCOS where carb/sugar cravings are typical and I’m always hungry. So I’m very surprised at the positive results thus far.I’m well informed on natural therapies, supplements etc and have tried many things to naturally balance my PCOS symptoms of sugar cravings and difficulty in losing weight.Im of normal weight but can very quickly gain weight if I don’t watch my diet. So it is a constant struggle and thought to try this to see if it will make it easier to lose weight.I’m yet to weigh myself as I want to commit to 3 months before I make a verdict on Berberines effect on weight loss. But so far it’s promising and I’m feeling good- also noticing less anxiety.Not sure if that is something Berberine helps with, but I do feel like something in my body is balancing out.
