If you are like me, and like to save money with do-it-yourself tasks, get this handy socket for conducting fuel filter changes on your Ram 6.7L.I used this on a 2021 Ram 2500 Laramie. Before ordering this socket, I used the traditional 3/8 socket in the past. Problems using those were the 1) it was a 12-point which I highly recommend NOT using for the filter covers since they are made of hardened plastic and 2) the standard height of the socket had the feeling of stripping the cap trying to remove the covers. Using this socket alleviated both. It's a 6-point with low profile. The lower "center of gravity" gives you more torque to loosen and tighten the caps. Anyone that has tried to remove the filter caps themselves will know what I am talking about. The filter caps can sometimes be a bear to remove.
