I'm not sure why medium sized white lidded trash cans are so hard to come by these days! I could only find large kitchen types, teeny 1 gallons, or everything in chrome or silver. I was so happy to stumble upon these and enough to order for all the bathrooms and rooms.They came well packaged, stacked in a big box within a box. No damage to any of them. The 6 pack ends up a great price at around $6 per can - a steal! Comparable metal or silver colored cans of this size with a lid are in the $30 range.12 quarts or 3 gallon, which is a nice size for bedroom or bathroom, doesn't need to be emptied every other day like some of the teeny lidded cans. The swinging lid part is securely attached with long hinges, not easily removed. We've been using all 6 for a few weeks and only one has managed to become unhinged when a pet got into the trash. It was easily snapped back on without harm and no pieces broke.They recommend the 4 gallon bag, which I found at Walmart. Little unscented plain bags for under $2 per box - works and fits perfectly. Your standard grocery plastic bag is a bit too small for these cans, you could use them, but they'll be shallow, as the can is a bit tall, which would require more frequent emptying.My one drawback would be that the lid just rests on the base with a large overlapping lip. I would prefer a little more of a snap or secure closure, personally. We have pets that like to get into the trash, and a tighter lid would help deter them more. If these cans are knocked over or nudged a bit that is enough for the lid to fall off.

I bought one of these long ago and couldn't find them in a store in this area. Once again, Bolo.com came through! Bought two more for our guest bathrooms. They are small enough to fit between the sink and toilet, but large enough that guests don't have to empty the wastebasket every day. Also trash is hidden by the swing-top. The wastebasket is easy to clean on the outside. If you use plastic grocery bags, they will not go to the very bottom, but far enough to be useful. Easy to empty because you just lift off the top, but the top doesn't dislodge when you place trash inside of the wastebasket. The wastebaskets were inside plastic bags inside of a largish box and were in perfect shape. Thanks Bolo!

PRODUCT IS FINE. ALL 2 OF THEM THAT WERE SHIPPED (2 WASTEBASKETS IN EACH OF TWO BOXES). I ONLY WANTED 1 WASTEBASKET, NEVERTHELESS I HAVE PLACED THE "EXTRA" ONE IN ANOTHER BATHROOM. THE OTHER BOX THAT WAS SENT HAS NOT BEEN OPENED AND I AM DECIDING WHO TO GIVE IT TO. TOO EXPENSIVE TO RETURN IT. THE DESCRIPTION WAS MISLEADING DUE TO TYPOS ON ORIGINAL PAGE AND NOTHING INDICATING CLEARLY THAT THERE WERE 2 TO A BOX. ADDITIONALLY I ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLED THE ORDER AND DIDN'T CORRECTLY ENTER THE ORDER. I ALSO ORDERED ACCIDENTALLY AN EXTRA DOG BED IN THE PROCESS OF DELETING ITEMS IN "MY CART". THAT ITEM WAS ORIGINALLY ORDERED AND RECEIVED SOME TIME AGO. THE DUPLICATE WAS RETURNED A MONTH OR SO AGO AT SOME EXPENSE. Our puppy has an affinity for tissues and paper towels. She was constantly in our old trashcans ripping all paper products to shreds! Replaced all our bathroom trashcans with these and problem solved! Great size and the swinging top is easy to use. Looks very nice in our bathrooms. Highly recommend

The cleaning lady broke the waste basket in our bathroom. I looked all over town to find a suitable replacement, tried several but was not satisfied. Poor design and worse construction. Even considered fixing the broken one... We needed a wastebasket with a lid to keep the dogs out. I found the Sterilite White 12 Qt Swing-Top Wastebasket. It has worked out great!Looked online and found a very good price at Bolo and the item was delivered to the house. No more driving round town!We recommend this item to anyone looking for a reasonably priced good working wastebasket.

There were supposed to be 6 trash cans. I only received 5 trash cans and 4 lids. Some of the lids and cans have dirty marks that won't wash off. Mostly bummed about not getting 6 complete sets.
