They are excellent for helping to moisturize and soften my heels which are severely cracked. I wear these to bed and they are softening my heels. I don’t expect them to repair my deep cracks, but they definitely help to softening the heels and reduce the pain caused by the deep cracks. If you walk barefoot or wear flip flops a lot, I definitely recommend that you give these a try! I don’t know the secret about how they work, but they do and that’s all that matters! They make a huge difference!!!

I bought these since the reviews were pretty good, someone even saying it helped in as fast as 3 days. For me it's been almost a week and I've seen great improvement for such a short time. While they're still a little dry, visually I cannot tell so I'm impressed. And I think $14ish dollars for 2 pairs is a good price. I still apply lotions and what not, but I've taken to wearing these when I sleep and sometimes during the day when I'm watching TV or something. They're comfy. Definitely a good buy and I'm happy.

I was looking up foot creams and these heel socks popped up and I am so glad they did!!! I was having trouble walking because it was so painful with my heels having deep cracks. I have tried the foot files, the pumice stones, the metal file. None worked for long. I love being barefoot and wearing sandals whenever possible so my feet dry out. These socks eased the pain of the deep cracks overnight. The gel softened the very dry skin that makes the deep cracks so painful. I filed down the dead skin after but I no longer have to worry about the painful deep cracks because I sleep with the gel socks on my heels. Normally I cannot sleep with socks on because I get hot too easily, but because these go over the heal not the toes I do not have a problem sleeping with them on. The gel does feel a little weird when walking on it but I don't care, its totally worth it.

I am going to compare “Dr. Frederick's Original Moisturizing Heel Socks” with “Love, Lori Moisturizing socks.” The heel sock from Dr. Frederick's store has gel only in the targeted area, but they work great. They are very light and comfortable so that I am able to wear them under another pair of socks during the day, or by themselves all night. They are stated to be machine washable, but I have been hand washing and they continue to provide very soft and smooth heels. I like that they are 85% cotton. These sell about 7 times more than the other brand and have a higher rating.Now for the “Love, Lori” socks (3 stars): This product is a full sock, and has a hefty weight. They do treat cracked heels quite well, but the aroma was a bit overwhelming to me, even after hand washing. They are not intended to be worn for more than 30 minutes, and recommend not walking while using. About 1/3 of reviews mentioning the aroma reported it to be unpleasant. The S/M says for up to 8.5 foot size. I wear an 8.5 and found these to be a bit snug. Multiple reviewers said they ran small.Yes, these are two different options for foot healing, and my preferred solution may not be the same as yours. I hope this helps you decide what you are looking for.

Why didn't I get these sooner!? I'm not kidding when I say my heals were so cracked at times it hurt to walk until I discovered these socks. I love that the toes are exposed because I wear them to sleep during the summer and will do all year long ! My heals upon wearing them the first night ggt were already 95% better! I wish I had before and after pics! These are great!

I bought these to wear with my orthopedic sandals, but found they rolled up into the arch of my foot a bit, and I was constantly readjusting them. The color, weight, washability, and fit were all fine, just that I was spending a lot of time tugging down the arch and up the leg. I am still wearing them, because despite the issues (which I expected with a toeless sock) they still work pretty well.

I have worn these socks through the night now for 2 weeks and noticed results after 5 days. I have slim feet and they are comfortable with room to stretch. The gel feels cool and whatever is in it heals the cracks and rough skin. I do not soak my feet or use additional lotion before putting them on. I wash them by hand in cold water every 3 uses and they are like new. I recommend this product for sure for anyone prone to rough or cracked heals or simply to keep the skin soft.

So much better than silicone socks
These socks have been excellent for my cracked heels and made them smoother than they have been in years. I apply a heel cream once a day after shower before bed. Comfortable to wear the whole day at home or when outside with socks over them. The 2 pairs of socks makes it easy to rotate between pairs, while one is being washed and dried. I've washed them several times and the gel is still effective. These are meant to be air dried, not for the dryer.Definitely recommended over silicone socks, which ripped after the second time and are very slippery and uncomfortable to walk in.
