This tool is one of those things. It's extremely well built and makes easy work of cuts that used to be quite a PITA. If this versatile tool fell in the lake, I'd buy another one immediately.

This is one of the best power tools I have ever used. It is not extremely light weight, but it isn't heavy. It has made my job a lot easier. It has been dropped and didn't slow it down one bit. I believe you get what you pay for, and this was worth every penny. The noise level is a bit loud, so I use headphones. It is precise and will be using it for a long time.

Worth the extra over a non-brand name model
Bought this to cut holes in plywood since I don't already have a jig saw. Super easy to set up, and I love how quiet the brushless motor is. Beware that the proprietary battery and charger are sold separately, so if you're not already in the 20V DeWalt ecosystem you may want to choose a different brand.
Powerfull Tool
Use medium speed only most of the time. Powerful & solid. The spring (for tooless changing blades) is rather heavy though, need a bit stronger hand & fingers - no complaint.

Had this while now…still amazed at its usefulness. This particular model has a three speed selector…as well as the expected variable speed trigger bar. It means you can set it to not exceed a speed range…mostly useful if holding it at an angle that makes steady trigger pressure difficult.The quick release blade system is a dream, just squeeze the silver lever and slide the blade out to change.These oscillating multi tools all work the same way…no surprises here, it does what it should, but it does come with a useful selection of blades and a sanding attachment (good for inside corners), plus the robust tough stak case.It is a great tool for some otherwise near impossible jobs!
