I have been using Elemis pro collagen marine cream with spf30 for about ten years now. For my 65 year old skin, this is a great fit in my daytime routine. It is a light gel- cream texture with a very light fragrance that sinks into my skin quickly and interacts well with all my other skin care and makeup. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moist, not sticky or heavy.

First I have to admit this was an impulse buy. I don’t usually purchase any skin care products without being able to feel them or smell them, or optimally, receive a free sample. But...I was at home recovering from a foot surgery, feeling totally housebound, and had way too much time on my hands to scroll around and explore on Bolo. I had previously purchased the Elemis foot care cream, which is amazing, by the way. So I decided to see what else this brand had to offer. This cream had wonderful reviews, and being now on the dark-side of 50, I knew I really should be wearing something with sunscreen. (Quite a few of the reviewers had received a free sample during a cruise; LOL, I’ve never been on a cruise!) So I received this and fully expected not to like something about it. Well, it has a lovely fresh scent that reminds me of the blue-green color of the jar. It is light, but substantial enough that it feels like it definitely is providing moisture. It is not oily or greasy. Once it is absorbed it leaves a nice silkiness on your skin that allows makeup to be applied flawlessly. This is the most expensive product that I have ever purchased, but I have to say that I think it is well worth the price.

My favorite brands no longer make SPF 15 moisturizer, and I limit the # of products I put on my skin. Bought the sample/travel size and it has good sun protection, but isn’t heavy/thick. Wears well under makeup on my sensitive skin.

We love Elemis in our house! Its so creamy and lush! I notice immediate difference in my skin when i use it! Hate they are getting rid of the invigorating face wash :(
