While not as thick on the grasp as the old one that was replaced, this black matte metal stair railing fits perfect in our narrow utility basement stairs area.It stands out so can be seen, but doesn't stick out too far and hinder usage of an already narrow stairwell. The railing is sturdy enough when mounted as a hand guide and person can put a little pull to help up stairs, but not sure it would sustain lots of pressure over time. The matte finish allows for easier grip.It mounted easily and is fairly lightweight for a metal handrail.We're well-satisfied with the purchase.

The product itself is awesome and was assembled, if you can call it that - in less than three to four minutes. The guidance is really straight forward. The screws are medicore, but the mollies are "crap" and would not hold up a two year old. Expect to have to buy your own mollies, as it will pop off the wall - we spent another $10 at Lowes and got Mollies that will withstand 140 pounds of pressure and then it was amazing, sturdy - easy to install and so cool!

My box with my 6.6’ rail arrived UPS suspiciously all taped up on one end. I didn’t open it to check contents. By the time I did it was past the return date. I found it was missing 2 of the 3 flanges. Contacted the company and few questions asked. They sent me a whole new railing!! Wow. Impressed! Don’t hesitate to purchase this. Very nice quality too.

the railing is well made, very sturdy and looks great. i am confident in its ability to hold up to regular use. as to quality there weren't any defects whatsoever. the only thing to keep in mind however is placement.important to remember that due to the design you cannot move where the screws/mounts go in at all. for newer homes with standard stud placement this wouldn't be an issue. however for our century plus old home it was a problem.while we could find a stud for the first mount we could not line it up for the second and third. we ended up using a different, butterfly type screw/bolt mounting system to get it into place behind the plaster wall.once up and installed i could not be happier with the end results. one nice thing about this finish is that it does not hold any fingerprints at all. also the shape of the bar is perfect for getting a good solid grip onto if needed.

Got 2 sets of 10 feet for my son's townhome witch had no handrails on the up stairs or downstairs steps. They must of been removed because the house would of never passed inspection when new. We priced wooden rails and they were very expensive. These 1" pipe rails are reasonable priced (it's really pipe) and were easy to put on once some studs were located. Both stairs had some portion of a pipe base connector lining up with a stud. Once installed, my son loved the look. Very modern and not taking up a huge amount of space on the stairs. On a side note: we also got a pipe style bar rack (with fake faucet) for his bar area which matched the theme of the pipes. Very cool!

Molto complicato il montaggio, nel senso che le filettature non permettono di unire i pezzi in modo efficace. Ho dovuto ricorrere alla canapa e alla pasta per idraulici. La qualità comunque è buona.
