As such, I've bought a number of pairs of them over the years. To me its hard to find a better shoe to work in, especially when you're on your feet nearly 16 hours a day, 7 days a week like I am. Theres a reason we issue them to the boys out there fighting for our freedom I figure, right? If they're good enough for the Marines, gotta be good enough for me. And these boots are definitely good enough! I've had them nearly a month now I think, and I've been putting off writing a review to really test them out and see how well they hold up as advertised. And for a boot thats cheaper than most name brand tennis shoes, these things are absolutely awesome.My last pair were made by Reebok, cost about $100 dollars more, and lasted me the same as most boots have (roughly a year). The biggest difference between the Reebok boot and this boot, is that this boot is not steel toe. But the Reeboks weren't waterproof, and man am I impressed with the water proofing on this boot... Especially considering these are cheaper than a new pair of Nike tennis shoes. I specifically waited for a large rain storm to roll in before reviewing these so I could test the water proofing. I've added a picture above. Stood out in the rain in a substantial puddle for maybe two minutes to see if water was going to seep in just for this review! lol. My feet are still dry as a bone! So they definitely function as advertised! They look great, although I'm not huge on the faux leather deal at the top of the ankle. But beyond that they look almost identical to the reeboks, and the ankle portion is usually covered by my tactical pants anyway, so whatever. They also fit soooo much better than the Reeboks did when I bought them, and without added insoles at that! The Reebok insoles wore out on me in maybe 3 months, it was ridiculously quick. Like I said, I'm in them and working vastly more than I'm not, so buying insoles has become relatively common for me. Plus, I'm slightly flat footed, so they help keep my arches from constantly falling as well. But so far I've neither felt the need to buy insoles, nor had any adverse effects from using the included insole. My arches havent fallen, and my feet feel great. My foot is on the narrow side though, and it seems to me these boots are too. Which is good for me, they fit perfectly and that helps with comfort. But if you have a wide foot maybe consider going up half a size and see how that works for you. Bolo's return policy is good enough that if they don't fit, its no big deal. Drop them back off at a UPS store and order a new pair when you get refunded the next day, yah know? No harm no foul. To me, these things felt great from the moment I put them on though. There wasn't much need to break them in like other military boots I've bought. Usually you're in for a rough week the first week after you buy a pair. They never seem to have the "give" you need them to when you first buy them, but that wasn't a problem with these boots at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find them significantly more comfortable than my last couple pairs of boots from the jump.I was actually on Bolo about to purchase another pair of the Reeboks when I found these and man am I glad I saved the extra $100 bucks. You simply can not beat the value on these boots. They fit true to size, have great support, they're comfortable, and they have great water proofing capabilities. I'll definitely be back in another year or so to repurchase these bad boys.

The boots are good fit for it's size, very good value for it's price, good looking appearance, soft and comfy interior, soles are not too hard and still let's the feet feel what is underneath, traction is very good, weight is good but not for those who are used to wearing light shoes

Bought these to replace my old Under Armour shoes. I'd say these had a little less padding overall, but for the price, they seem great. I usually have to buy size 11.5 but these I was able to get in size 11 and they are comfortable. I like that they are polishable, but I'm unsure how they are going to do with me crouching down over the years. They will likely not stretch super well being leather-like.

Fit great, the zipper makes it super easy to get off and on. They are very light almost no Wright to them. They feel like they are made with thick leathers. I haven't taken them out hiking yet in the mountains so I can't say anything about the grip or how well they feel on sharp rocks (I hike the superstition mountains in Arizona all the time). The only thing I don't like is the rounded heel, it makes rolling backwards easy on uneven surfaces. A square heel at the very rear of the boot sole would make them feel more stable but we will see when I take them out this weekend.Update: I did 8 miles and 4000 feet elevation change off trail in the superstitions in very rough County with a ton of loose rock up and down hill and these boots performed flawlessly!!!!!! They didn't even need to be broken in just out of the box they were awesome. It was over 100°f and my feet did not over heat, they breathe very well for leather boots. The sole is not too hard which is good for going over rocks, my feet didn't get too much of a workout like they would have in hiking shoes.All in all, if you're looking for this style of boot I highly recommend these!!!!

I received these boots a few days ago. The boots looks great. I have a pair of Columbia hiking shoes which have lasted a really long time. I have wanted a pair of these Military Tactical Work Boots for a long time and have tried on several pairs before purchasing these. I am an outdoors kind of guy and anytime I purchase shoes, I usually go for the purposes behind the shoe not necessarily the looks . With this pair of NORTIV 8 Men's Military Tactical Work Boots, I'm looking very much far into the future and will be getting my wife a pair as well. I bought a 9.5 wide and after inspecting the shoe, the quality looks superb. This shoe may not be for everyone, but so far I am really pleased with this purchase. My wife had gotten a pair of Dr. Scholls Work Massaging Gel Advance Foam Insoles for them and it made the shoes nice and snug, but not over the top. In my opinion, I believe we should have at least 2 great pair of comfortable hiking / Tactical Work Boots that will last just in case we have to get up and up and leave / evacuate in an emergency. In my opinion these days, everyone should look towards the future to what it may or may not bring.

I bought the same ones in april for my son. He is at the argentine air force. He was happy. Are light and very comfortable. After a couple of month one of the zippers broke. That is the reason I don't give them 5 stars. I hope this ones last longer

Durch den erhöhten Stand bestens für mich geeignet um einen sicheren Halt und Stand beim Motorradfahren zu erreichen. Ich musste dden Schuh eine Nummer größer wählen, 43 passt so ganz gut aber erst mit der 44 kam ein angenehmes Tragegefühl hinzu. In wieweit das Modell als Tactical Boot geeignet ist kann ich nicht beurteilen. Für meine Zwecke, recht hochwertig und eben ein angenehmes Tragen. Vergleichbare Motorradstiefel die einen höheren Stand ermöglichen liegen bei rund 300 € somit also 5 Sterne Wert. Langlebigkeit kann noch nicht beurteilt werden
Good so Far
Comfy straight out of the box and after a 3.7 mile walk still issue free.Lightweight, look the part, but time will tell on longevity.They are warm though, ideal for Winter/Autumn but may be too warm for summer. Another one to report back on later.Thus far, I like them.April 25, and the boots are holding up well. My No1 go to pair, comfy and remarkably don't appear to get stains or marks. Very pleased I need.
