Great so far. Charged it up. Took 5 minutes. Might have had partial charge before we started charging. Ran it in a large bowl for a minute. Grandson filled bathtub. Ran for 15 more minutes. Was able to walk the transmitter 20 feet from the tub and it still drove and dived. Great mobility. Grandson was pulsing the dive button because he wasted it to keep moving, this might have preserved battery. Kept antenna extended full time.I am an engineer. It didn't take any special skill.Oh, sub turns on *when* it gets wet, apparently when the charging pins are shorted. There is no on switch on the sub. Instructions were silent on this point.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this submarine!!! My kids love it. They use it in the pool all the time. Great toy. A little pricey but worth it.

The sub would work from time to time and only when standing less than foot from it. Also there was no charger included, nor antenna (I guess this is what thé hole in the remote is for…). No return/refund option on Bolo. Probably just a bad product, but very disappointed.

For the money it’s a great little toy for my kid. Had fun for 10 minutes. Remote range is short but in the backyard pond that was not an issue. Battery life is a bummer (again just 10 minutes). Has a lot of character for such a small toy. Moves quite fast in the water. Lights are plus, makes a cool bluish glow when deep in the pond where you can’t see the sub itself.

This toy works pretty well but, the range is abysmal. Once it gets about 3-4 feet from the controller, it looses signal and does nothing until it regains signal. It uses an internal horizontal propeller in the center to dive, and once you let go of the button it rises back to the surface. It is easy to use, but frustrating on how short the range is.

Right out of the box, this sub does not sink. It will float. This thing is awesome if you add a little weight! I glued a washer and two finish nails on the bottom. This creates buoyancy, which makes operating this thing a lot more fun. Another benefit is a longer battery life due to not having to force the sub to sink.

Instructions could have bee clearer on initial opening, required Philips screwdriver that was supposed to be included not there.And yet I gave it five stars.After figuring out what was required for initial operating and providing my own screwdriver we got an amazing amount of fun operating it in the bathtub. My 8 year old grandson-unit played with it a lot. Unlike helicopters which use a lot of battery for lift, the sub floats so the batteries last a long time between charges. It is also safer, unlike helicopters or drones that can go anywhere and damage furnishings, the sub is confined to water and it is hard to break a bathtub.

Two stars only because it works. But the design is horrible, the rudder isn't connected to anything so can change direction randomly. I don't know whether mine was defective or not but forward makes the subscription go in circles and putting corrective inputs doesn't help just makes it go in circles the other direction. The remote isn't waterproof, so having to be out of the pool, bringing it back to you is pretty much impossible. I'm returning mine and I would not recommend this toy.

Me ha dejado con muy mal sabor de boca, lo que esperaba fuera un elemento de diversión, resulta que tiene tan poco alcance la señal del control remoto que casi casi hay que estar pegado al juguetito dentro del agua o la alberca para que funcione. Nunca volvería a comprar otro de estos.
Funcionalidad erratica
A pesar de tener 6 canales para dirigirlo su operación en línea recta es errática, aun ajustando el timón, esta bonito, pero me siento desilusionado por su funcionamiento, tengo 25 años con artefactos de control remoto y este es de aquellos que te lamentas, para que lo compre, a pesar de estar bonito

El producto es de plano muy pequeño, cabe fácilmente en la palma de una persona adulta sin problema. La fabricación es de calidad deficiente. El producto no viene completo de acuerdo al manual; le hace falta una base para la carga de energía. Es verdaderamente un fiasco. Si no quieren sentirse defraudados y defraudar a un niño, NO LO COMPRE.Me siento defraudado.
