5.0 out of 5 stars Cleans very good!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } It comes with 4 Keurig cleaning pods, 2 water filters and 1 descaling solution. Everything is there. For the price is well worth it and it works!!! Step: I started the descale first, then pods and last the filter. For my Keurig Supreme coffee maker. Other models you may have to see your manual or search online for instructions. Place a large coffee mug under the spout.Make sure the machine is plugged in and powered off. Add the entire descaling solution on the empty coffee water jar with same bottle add more water to jar or use another cup to add more water to jar.Press and hold the 12 oz and 8 oz cup size buttons at the same time simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the "Descale" light turns solid. The descaling solution should start brewing into your mug. Note It is extreme hot! Do not touch the water from brew (You may want to add more water to the coffee jar to full to continuously descaling several times. To add more water use another cup and DO NOT remove the water jar from the coffee maker.)Flush the machine with fresh water to remove residue and vinegar taste. Repeat about 15 times or more until the descale light goes away. I would say about a full jar of water to descale it. It will take some time, so patience is the key. For those that don't do reading search (Bing) or (YouTube) in how to descale a Keurig supreme coffee maker video to watch. Since my parents are baby boomers and didn't know how to search, I'm a Gen-Z and help with the process and show them how to do it. The Copilot on your computer or AI on smartphone can help too. Hope that helps.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works as it should
It’s a cleaner kit for the Keurig. It does what it’s supposed to do and costs about the same as it does everywhere else.
4.0 out of 5 stars Instructions don't cover water on demand type of brewers.
I'm totally blind. I got this to clean my old Keurig K-Supreme being the descale lights has been flashing for some time and it was brewing less per cup. How do I know the light was flashing. I used an light detector and the detector when light is detected has an high pitch and a low pitch when no light was detected. But anyway! the K-Supreme I could brew two yes I said 2 ten ounce cups of coffee to get an full 16 ounce of coffee.I didn't use the instructions in the package being the instructions didn't cover some of the newer brewers taht do not ahve an internal tank to heat up water. The K-Supreme is an water on demand type of system. So what I did was to empty out the tank, pored the cleaning product into the tank, fulled the bottle and pored that into the tank. Then make sure the brewer was turned off! Pressed and held the 8 and 12 ounce buttons for 3 seconds! Then pressed the brew button to get the first cup ran through the maker. Yes I did make sure I had a nice big cup under the spout! LOL.Now this is what I did that is different than the instructions. After the first cup was done! I emptied the cup and left the brewer sit for 15 minutes in hope to give the cleaning product time to work. Then I pressed the brew button again to run the 2nd cup of cleaning product through it. When it was done, I started another 15 minute timer on the Echo and while that was running! I pulled the tank, dumped out what was left in it, cleaned the tank with soap and water! filled it back up and set it back on the brewer. Then when the 2nd 15 minute timer was done, I pressed the brew button again to run the first cup of just plain water through it. Dumped it and waited 5 minutes to repeat the same thing again and again until the tank was empty and at that point, the descale light went out.Now you are probably wanting to know why I waited 5 minutes between pressing the brew button to just run clean water through it! My thinking is the following. A lot of people have had issues with the K-Supreme over heating and the brewer just stop working. Well by giving it 5 minutes between flushes allows the brewer to cool down some so in hopes it wouldn't over heat.I did that a few days ago and the brewer is working OK. I've not tested to see how much coffee is brewed on a 8 or 10 ounce cup yet! But the brewer is working. Seems to run a little quieter. The coffee doesn't taste any different! But I really didn't expect it to. My hopes is the brewer will last longer. So for it is almost two and an half years old and still going. Most days it gets at least 16 ounces of coffee brewed through it and from time to time, 32 or 48 ounces.Yes I also ran oneof the cleaning K-Cups through it after I had the descale light out! Figured it wasn't going to harm anything. I'm the only one to use the brewer that I know of! Could be my guide dog uses it without me knowing about it! LOL.The only issues I had is the mouth of the bottle is very small and the sticky doesn't have a lip that sticks up so you can grab it and pull it off. The mouth being small also makes it hard to fill the bottle back up in order to poor the 2nd bottle into the brewer when you can not see.I like the keurig cleaning stuff being I don't need to try to only poor a given amount into the brewer and then add xx water. This is nice and simple. Yes the way I did it may take longer! But I think truely cleaned the brewer good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Keurig maintenance kit
This kit is amazing. It cleans the keurig perfectly. It allows the machine to brew a full cup of coffee by cleaning out all the hard water. This is the best cleaning kit to get.
5.0 out of 5 stars A-OK
Good stuff, arrived great, thanks !!
3.0 out of 5 stars Instructions are terrible
I was excited when the descaling kit arrived, only to read the box and bottle labels for instructions. Nothing, only an idiotic blurb about how to use the rinse pods (duh?)Luckily I had kept the original instructions that came with the machine and started the process, but something didn’t seem right. The instructions used several BOLD words highlighted (which generally means these are the important ones to focus on), but why the he’ll they didn’t highlight that you start the process WITH THE POWER BUTTON OFF???So, if you just bought this and are confused, the process is simple…Turn the power OFF.Pour the entire bottle of solution into an empty water container, then fill the bottle with water and add it as well.PRESS and HOLD the 12 oz AND the 8oz buttons 3 seconds until the large “K” button blinks, then press it to start. When empty, drain and fill with water and press start and keep filling large mugs of water until the descale light goes out (about five minutes to complete).Maybe some genius engineers at Keurig will read this and consider changing their packaging? (NAH!)
5.0 out of 5 stars It makes a difference and can save you money in the long run.
It does the job. Saved two Keurig coffee makers which had though to have been destined for the scrap heap. Try this product first.
