I have bought pretty simple sets before and so was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this one. The painting is mounted on a stiff cardboard, which makes it much easier to maneuver. They provide a *high* quality brush that gave me lots of control. And they give instructions for different brush techniques and mixing paint, which meant that I was learning while also engaging in a relaxing, fun activity. And finally, I love how the end product looks! I will definitely purchase more paint by numbers sets from this brand.

As I was doing the chairs and deck I didnt think is was going to look nice. But I stuck with it and when I finished it I loved the outcome. The colors are vibrant and just lovely to look at. I did have a problem with the paint pots I recieved, lots were separated and clumpy which caused the paint to dry clumpy. I tried adding water and it helped solve a lot of the clumpyness but did not get rid of it. However, I am very pleased with the outcome. It turns out exactly as advertised. I also added a gloss finish when I was done to protect the painting.

My first paint by numbers! Came out so good and get so many compliments. Great if you need a new hobby or something to pass the time and clear your mind.Easy to mix colors. The brush wasn’t the best but I used it the whole time no problem.

I have finished a few paint by numbers kits and I have used different brands only because they carried the picture I liked. The Dimensions painting came out by far the best out of all of them! I thought it was going to be a pain to maneuver because it was already mounted on a board, but it wasn't bad. Because it isn't canvas, the picture came out a LOT clearer then the others and made a huge difference on coverage with the paints as well. So much easier! The pain mixing as kind of a pain, but I purchased little containers with lids to keep each mixed color I made in one then used tape to label the containers. That way in case I found a spot later I forgot to fill in, I could use the same mixed color as the other spots and it created a more uniform look. I highly recommend the Dimensions brand and will purchase again.

This was my first ever paint by number. Actually first time painting anything except model rockets or airplanes. I expected a learning experience, and did the best I could, taking my time. It took me ten sessions of two hours each. So listen to the news or music and enjoy your painting sessions. I learned that an expensive brush holds it's point better than the one that comes in the box. Some paints were lumpy, so I added 3 or 4 drops of water and stirred with a flat toothpick. If I was only doing a few small areas of a mixed color, I'd put a drop of each color on a separate flat toothpick and mix the paints on the toothpicks, then apply to the brush. Then use the brush to apply to the painting. That way I never ran out of paint, and actually had extra when completely done.
Love the thick board
Great quality all around. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. The thick board you paint on is great, especially if you like to do these on the couch. Can't wait to complete this!
Lakeside Morning - turned out great
This was my third Dimensions PBN and I will continue to buy only this brand. The white cardboard is nice -arrives not wrinkled or creased, and it is easy to paint on. This one is a bit larger and took me quite a while - I would say at least 60+ hours, but then I am quite careful and particular. I changed a few of the details and some of the colors. Personally, I found the paints in the kit to be more vivid than the picture on the box, so the whole thing turned out very colorful and bright! But I love it and I just bought a white frame for it.

I love the cardboard backing on the paintworks , makes these so easy to paint. These are great quality and turns out beautifully. Love mine.
You can always go over a colour after to change thickness of paint or colour tones adjustable.
Dimensions is the best acrylic paint and also a good strong board to paint on. The best paint by number one I’ve seen so far .I really like their products best . No canvas with creases in it , you cannot get out sometimes even with ironing. Also the board saturation is quicker and easier to apply over if too sheer in light colours. Good stress relief during covid for an adult or teenager.Haven’t used a paint by number in over 30 years. The one I purchased as a teenager was in oils. The acrylics are a faster drying water based paint. Sheer in texture on the lighter colours but you can finish your project quicker and not worrying about drying time or putting your hands by accident on a previously painted area.Dimensions is a Good quality paint by number, really like it !

This paint by numbers was great for the beginner! I like the thick board it is on. Easy to start and stop and needed and easy to paint on. My only complaint is that it only comes with one brush (thin and small) and nearing the end of the paint project it was getting more difficult to use for the finer details.
