For others who have specific criteria on things like this as I do...OVERALL SIZE INCLUDING SPIRAL: 5-1/2" wide x 7-7/8" tall.EFFECTIVE NATURAL WRITING SPACE: 4-1/2"w x 7-7/8" tall. AND!! At that same 4-1/2" point, there's a "barely there but helpful" perforation, yay! It's not inclined to rip or fold at that point unless you cause it, but if you fold and tear, you get a clean removal.RULE LINES: "College ruled" line spacing. Lines not so dark or bold that they get obnoxious when sketching, but plenty visible for writing. Enough "just right" so probably good for 99% of people.COVERS: Back is not "heavy" cardboard but it's good enough. Front glossy plain cover is actually stiffer. There's flex to the notebook but not floppy so.PAPER: Using Pentel EnerGel pen, you can see through on the back BUT I can write on the back without the front's writing confusing things. It's not bad at all. Pen and mechanical pencil both write smoothly on the paper.SPIRAL ITSELF: Wide enough and sturdy enough to hook a pen on it. Spiral has a bent-loop keeper "finish" on each end which hooks around the first spiral and it doesn't screw up turning pages. That's a very good thing.PLAIN FRONT COVER: Really happy about that, I don't want logos or whatever. (Front cover should be MINE!)COLORS: 3 very tolerable colors - black, a very nice medium-green color, and a purple that I'd have found quite tolerable even in the days when I hated purple-anything.

Start using the notebooks when working and ordering office supplies for office; ordered a couple of notebooks and the entire office personnel loved them and would order for them; the used the notebooks for each projects they worked on. When I retired 3 yrs ago, Bolo had Staples on their website and would order for myself; great to keep up with my blood sugars on a daily base and write down what I eat each and everyday.

I keep basically 3-sets of books the past 6-years. One is to journalize all calls and contacts because I developed cognitive deficits years ago so over the years I learned my independence depended on upping my cognitive game. I keep notes of all scripture @ spiritual study, hopefully once or twice a day.Lastly I write. Presently I am writing a history of my son's family to give to his 2 5-yr old daughters. Their Mom is a First gen American. I want them to know all about their English-Scottish & Swedish ancestors.I have used so many tablets & pens, I am an expert.

These are the perfect sized writing surfaces for those things you're required/would like to remember. I've labeled all three, one for the house that carries the sizes I need [windows, doors, floor space, garden space dimensions, etc.] when shopping for home/construction goods; one for plans and thoughts about those areas and more, and the third for repair/refurbish/redo plans and ideas.They each can fit into my bag without adding hardly any weight while being a necessity when I run across sales.Thanks for the 3 pc pack, that made the choice an easy one.
