This product gets hot and does exactly as it is described, however, I need something that will grab my short hair to straighten it. This only acts as a hot comb. It does not grab the hair at all. While it does soften and help anti- frizz the hair, it doesn't work to straighten my short hair. That is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5. If someone else had written this review I would not have bought this product.

I love every aspect of the electric hot comb! I am using it for my beard and it works wonders. My brother-in-law bought one for his beard and when I saw his straight beard I wanted one. He let me know that he got his hot-comb on Bolo. I used mine immediately and love this easy it is to use, AND I love my straight beard!! I’d definitely buy this again!

First, this was clearly used. The item was in "on" position and there was product or body grease on the handle. After cleaning and disinfecting, I used it the next day.For a somewhat wiry beard of 3-4" length, this product was ineffective. I slowly and repeatedly combed it out but hardly any change. I tried using a wooden beard comb to have something against the straightener's comb and it helped somewhat but it required a lot of time for success that I have seen faster with small flat iron hair straighteners.I got similar results as when I blow dry and brush my beard. I'm in the process of testing multiple straighteners. Meh, good price.

Heats up quickly and takes only a few slow strokes to straighten my four inch, curly and coarse beard. Softens the steel wool on my chin as well. Great value for the money.

This product doesn't really heat up well and didn't work to straighten my husbands beard. The size is small and compact but the bulky cord end gets in the way as it turns so loosely.

Got this because I needed to tame my out of control beard. This was pretty cheap and now I know why. Used it the first time, heated up great and straightened without an issue. Left it set for a few days and went back to use it again and noticed it didn’t get as hot as the first time. It also did not straighten as well as the first time and kept leaving parts of my beard frizzy and poofy, now I just use it as a more expensive beard brush. If this thing worked as well as it did the first time, I’d leave a better review. But I’m in the market for another beard brush…… again.
