Used a bottle on two fill ups in a row. The gas mileage on my 2001 Toyota Avalon went from 26.4 to 28.2. I drive about 500 miles a week. Money well spent.

I took a chance on this product after reading some reviews elsewhere. I was experiencing some severe pinging on a Audi 2.0 turbo direct injection engine and suspected it was due to carbon build up on the pistons. Ran an endoscope into a couple of cylinders and found significant build up as suspected. I figured I'd try this before committing to a teardown. It's pricey but way less than a head pull.The car ran better on the first tank. I had a significant mid-range stumble in addition to the low rpm ping, and the stumble went away before I finished the tank. Big boost in mid range power, smoother running throughout the rpm range. After the second tank I was convinced the pinging was greatly reduced. Just ran the endoscope into the cylinder and you see the results yourself. It's the real deal.I used an aggressive strategy: I bought two bottles and added the first one with a half tank of gas - about 7 gallons. Way more concentrated than called for but I was desperate. Ran that tank down then filled the next tank halfway again, added the second bottle, ran that one down before topping off the tank.What you see in the first pic is the result of oil vapor carbonizing on the cylinder top but in a pattern that suggests that the injector was not clean and therefore not misting the fuel but rather squirting in streams, the streams are the clean part of the piston, with carbon build up between the streams. Second pic shows the fuel no longer streaming, so entire piston top is getting cleaned by the fuel, as it should be.Pricey stuff but it works.
